Oakwood Hide,Drumnadrochit, Highland studio Cabin.

Oakwood Hide is a bespoke studio, self contained cabin set within our family garden/wood, just outside Drumnadrochit, close to Loch Ness. The cabin has a very welcoming, light airy feel and is perfect for those looking to relax, enjoy the views and take some much needed time for themselves, whilst also being the perfect base for those wanting to enjoy the walks, mountain biking, fishing, bird watching and all that the Glens and the Highlands have to offer. We very much look forward to your arrival at Oakwood Hide, a wee welcome pack awaits you. The Hide is an open plan kitchen, dining, living and bedroom area with a spacious shower room. The Hide has a fully equipped kitchen including fridge (small freezer compartment), induction hob/oven, microwave and seating for two. The shower room has a power shower and we provide organic cotton face/hand/body towels. Also included, is an initial complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash (eco friendly). Hairdryer also provided. There is comfortable seating both inside and out so you can enjoy the wildlife, views and sunsets. There are books & games to enjoy, a bodhran to play and a yoga mat to practise or meditate on (perfect surroundings for some mindfulness). There is a small smart TV with Netflix subscription and a Bluetooth Hi-Fi system with a selection of cd's. At the end of your day snuggle down into the comfortable king sized bed made up for your arrival with organic cotton bedding and anti-allergy pillows and duvet. We will be contactable by phone and you may see us around the garden especially as our latest garden project is making a wildlife pond. Your welcome to join in :) but as it's your holiday we will not intrude upon your space but please feel free to ask for information, something you may need that you've forgotten or just for a blether. Lower Gartally is within the locality of Drumnadrochit but is around a 5minute drive from the village. Our family home is set within the same 2acres of garden/wood and sits behind the cabin. We (our children and ourselves) do spend time in the garden and wood but always respect guests privacy and do not encroach upon the cabin space. Guests are more than welcome to enjoy the garden and wood.
