2nd Floor Ensuite Double Bedroom in Lymm Village

Light & airy attic double bedroom with private shower room & toilet. 100% cotton bed linen. Centrally heated. The bedroom & ensuite are the only rooms on the second floor of our Edwardian semi-detached family home, accessed by a steep, windy carpeted staircase which may be unsuitable for people with mobility problems. Would suit couple or individual. Weekday check in times are between 5pm - 9pm but weekends are flexible. Guests are given a key to the front door during their stay. The shower room has a heated towel rail with a set of bath & hand towels for the guest's use. The bedroom has a cupboard with plenty of hanging space (hangars provided) and shelves for other items. There is a wine cooler next to the writing desk for the fresh milk that is provided and any food or drinks the guests may bring with them. Guests are given a key on arrival so they can come and go as they wish. Off road parking is provided. The driveway - which is shared with 3 other houses - is secured with a large electronic gate. The code to open the gate will be provided to guests during their stay with us. Although I am out quite a bit during the day and some evenings, I will always be around first thing in the morning and late afternoon/evening if guests need help or advice. Lymm is a beautiful village which has 3 pubs and several restaurants. It is situated on the Bridgewater Canal, approximately 15 miles south of Manchester and close to the motorway network and airport. Convenient for trips to north Wales, the Lake District and the Peak District. Lymm Dam, surrounded by woodland and less than 5 minutes from the house, is a popular place for a walk, before returning to the village for a coffee or bite to eat. Although Lymm is not on the rail network, trains arrive in Warrington from each end of the country and there are regular buses to Lymm and a taxi rank at the station. Journey time approximately 15 minutes. Although breakfast is not included, there is a kettle in the room, with tea/coffee/hot chocolate, biscuit tin & fruit bowl. The Coffee House is a 2 minute walk and is open from 8am Mon-Frid, 8.30am Sat and 9.30am Sunday, where they serve delicious breakfasts from £6.95.
