The Pad Erba

The Pad Erba is a recently refurbished attic apartment in Erba in the heart of the "Triangolo Lariano" in the Province of Como. Erba is midway between Como (15km) and Lecco and is just 45 minutes from picturesque Bellagio and 1 hour from fashionable Milan. It is ideally situated for business or for pleasure. The apartment is situated on the 4th floor of a 1950's building, without lift. It's centrally located in a quiet private road which runs alongside the railway and it's just a 5- minute walk to the town centre, where you can find bars, shops and restaurants. The Pad has a double bedroom and living room with separate kitchenette fitted area with a 2-burner gas hob, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and all the kitchenware you may need to cook a wonderful meal. All towels, toiletries and bed linen are provided and there is also a washing machine, iron and hair dryer at your disposal. You'll also find a welcome pack on arrival containing breakfast goodies. Guests will also have access to parking in the private courtyard. Guests will have access to the entire apartment which is completely private and self-contained. They will also have access to the dedicated parking area behind the building in the private courtyard. The parking area is secure with an electric remote controlled barrier. During your stay I’ll be available for my guests by phone or messages or via Airbnb. Having a “self-check-in “ system will allow you to arrive at your own convenience at anytime after 17.00. Erba is a great base to start your holiday in the heart of the “Triangolo Lariano”. You can enjoy many different local attractions that the region offers in this concentrated mix of natural beauty, history and culture. In just a few days you can visit Lake Como with its wonderful villas and botanical gardens in the “Tremezzina” central lake area and the picturesque villages of Bellagio and Varenna. Hop on a train ( just 2 minutes from the Pad) and spend a day in Milan, the capital of fashion for a great shopping and eating experience. If you like outdoor activities, the area is great for cycling and trekking trips in the mountains. If you visit in summer and like sunbathing and swimming, why not visit the smaller Lake Segrino, (just 4 km from the Pad), where you can have a day at the Lido and swim directly in the lake. Lake Segrino is classified as one of the cleanest freshwater lakes in Europe, or if you prefer walking you can take a stroll around the perimeter of this little lake in just under an hour. In winter the ski runs of "Pian di Bobbio, Valtorta" are just 40 minutes away, where you can ski, snowboard or eat in the rustic mountain chalets. Of course Como city centre is just half an hour away where you can find that unique mix of chic and stylish bars and restaurants together with lovely shops and boutiques. Como also boasts a great open-air market which runs Tuesday and Thursday morning and all day Saturday selling all types of clothing, shoes and household articles. Train: Erba Station - 200 metres. Erba to Milan (64mins) (FNM line Milano-Asso) Bus: C40 Lecco- Erba- Como Erba to Como or Lecco 30 mins. The cleaning fee of €25 is to be paid in cash ( euro currency ) on site. The apartment is situated on the top floor ( fourth floor) and there is no lift, so it’s better to have light luggage.
