Our modern studio unit is self contained, with private entrance via the garage and its own secluded courtyard garden. The unit provides a queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, study/dining table, private automated garage, air conditioning, free wifi, full DSTV, essential supplies and onsite support. Glenwood is close to the University of KZN, Durbans CBD, beaches, tourist attractions and hospitals. We welcome you into your home away from home. A clean and quiet space in a central location. The self contained unit has its own entrance and automated garage. The unit is separate from the main house and used only as guest accommodation. Paul and Glen stay on site should you need local info, or to borrow that forgotten item. Decor is clean and modern. Free Wifi Kitchenette facilities: 1 plate induction stove, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and sink. Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils are provided as well as toilet roll & washing up liquid. Iron and Ironing board are available. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper & oil provided. Access is via your automated garage. Paul will be there on check in and to show you around. We are onsite and available for any questions, local knowledge or to lend you anything you may have forgotten. Due to the current world situation, we are able to shout across the courtyard or communicate via the Airbnb app, in order to avoid face to face contact. Glenwood is a friendly suburb with a great community spirit. You can walk down to the popular Glenwood bakery or Parc café for breakfast, lunch or dinner as they are just on the next corner (Deodar + Esther Roberts) . The Phansi Museum, KZNSA arts café and many other cafes are also with in walking distance. We are close to the University, medical school and several hospitals. The beach is a 10+ minute drive depending on traffic, with Durban city and the embankment / harbour a very short distance. The local minibus taxis can be found at the end of the road or catch a metred taxi or Uber. Check in and out times can be flexible and adjusted depending on other bookings. But please let me know in advance if you would like to check in before 4pm, are likely to be very late or to request a late check out. NB an additional cleaning day has been added before and after each stay in order to allow for deep cleaning.
