Close to International Airport

This is a comfortable, older apartment in leafy Clayfield. Although close to Eagle Junction rail ($19 on AirTrain), a convenient taxi ride from the airport is about AUD 25. A breakfast of coffee and toast is included in the nightly tariff. Everyone receives a friendly welcome! Be warned: no elevator so you have to walk up 32 steps! Electric trains to Brisbane City (12 minutes) or Gold Coast (90 minutes) or Sunshine Coast ( 60 minutes) are a 5 minute walk to Eagle Junction station. Buses to the city or shopping centres are a 7 minute walk. Just two blocks away is the cafe precinct where you can enjoy many international flavours. Guests are invited to relax in the living room or quietly snooze in their private bedroom. I'm always available to welcome guests and provide access keys. A cup of tea or coffee will welcome you. Please note that latest check in is 10 pm or 22.00. Guests are expected to depart prior to 10 am or pay an extra day. Thanks for your respectful consideration. Clayfield is an older, quiet, tree-lined suburb with some grand old colonial homes. A walk around the nearby streets will be an architectural treat. The cafe precinct includes international cuisines to suit all tastes: Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese, Italian, Japanese and my favourite, Thai Princess is 200 metres around the corner. Plenty of coffee bars are close by. If you want to be in Brisbane City, take the train - only 12 minutes. Walk 12 minutes through beautiful Kalinga Park to a shopping centre. Please be aware that this apartment has NO lift - walk up 30 steps! Great for your heart!
