The FORESHORE AERIE is a sunny, warm and peaceful waterfront retreat, drenched in natural light and warmed by the sun. It is nestled close to the charms of urban life while fulfilling desires for restful solitude. Feel the stress fall away as you walk through the door. The spacious, serene one bedroom aerie is bathed in morning and afternoon sunshine, with a space for unwinding, a space for working, a space for sleeping and a space for soaking up the sunshine. Watch the storms roll through, the sunshine or night lights glitter on the water, the birds circling above or open the windows for a birds-eye view of the promenade below. The concept was to create a peaceful and comfortable retreat for visitors to Canberra on leisure or business, decluttered to make space for items more important for your enjoyment during your stay. The nest is fully furnished with BoConcept furniture and amenities provided for your stay includes Sheridan towels and linen, MOR toiletries and a complimentary bottle of wine. The spacious bedroom has a queen bed with views overlooking the water and a study. The bathroom is accessible via the living room and/or the bedroom. The living area has a sofa that converts to a double bed with no fuss. A drop leaf dining table and dining chairs have recently been added. Other inclusions include one secure parking space, fast wifi, netflix, a nespresso coffee machine, classical CD's, planet finska games, hair straightener and a powerful hair dryer along with the standard essentials... and a few surprise extras. Check-in time is from 10am. Check-out is 2pm. These times are flexible depending on availability, please reach out if your travel plans require an earlier or later check-in or check-out. Located on the third floor of the ELEMENT building, you can access the building cinema, rooftop garden and BBQ area. A bike may also be available upon request. Kingston is such a wonderful location that we also work and live locally in the area, which means one of us may be around during your stay. If you need assistance we'll do our best to support you if we are home. Supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bars, florists, dry cleaners, gyms, bus stops and a range of services are all within an easy walking distance. The more tranquil Norgrove Park lies at the end of the building and you can discover a unique array of wildlife from the many paths or bird hides within the Jerrabomberra Wetlands around the corner. The neighbourhood is also perfect for a late night stroll or an early morning run or ride of the lake circuit with plenty of lighting around the path. There is a cleaning fee. The aerie is located in a bustling and popular precinct, and the quality of build ensures the noise level in the nest is very low. Your rest is assured as occupants must adhere to complex rules that prohibit noise being created at certain times which could be considered an annoyance or disruptive to others. The bedroom has honeycomb block-out blinds and dimming lights that allow you to enjoy the view while maintaining your privacy. The living room has been designed as a space to rest and maximise enjoyment of the view - unique mood lighting is the feature of the living room. Guests using the sofa bed will wake to the sunrise (no blinds fitted). The space can comfortably sleep 4 people. It is not suited to 3-4 adults who are seeking to prepare and cook meals themselves for extended stays or for those wishing to entertain. Fold-out furniture is provided, which may be perfect for 1-2 adults or children to use at certain times. The nest has a very high energy efficiency rating and the complex uses rainwater and solar power.
