Like us, we are sure you will gravitate to the main living room. With the floor to ceiling windows it makes it feel like you can just reach out and touch the mountains right from the sofa. Enjoy the view of the White Mountain National forest every single day of your stay. And if you are lucky enough to have storm blow through the valley during your stay you will have a front row seat to watch Mother Nature at her best. Our open floor plan flows nicely from our gourmet kitchen with counter space for gathering. Because we are sure that like our family, you’ll probably gather in the kitchen too. We have two separate ovens so if you choose to cook for your group there is plenty of room to do all the cooking you could possibly desire. And our dining room table expands to 12 for ample room for breaking bread together. But don’t worry, if you want a break from cooking too, there are many great places to grab a wonderful meal just minutes away. Be sure to ask for recommendations and we will be happy to help. The wrap around deck offers the perfect outdoor living space. Perfect to suck up some of the warmth of the sun or in the summer enjoy the warm mountain breeze bug free in the screened in room. The deck is the ideal spot for star gazing. Maybe you’ll get to catch a meteor shower or even the northern lights. The first floor master has direct access to the deck. You’ll awake to those mountain views that will make you never want to leave. The luxurious master bath will be a private oasis for you. From the tub to soak away your cares and the multi- jet shower wash away the world outside. On the second floor you’ll find a wonderful gathering area to watch a movie, snuggle in with a good book or maybe play a board game. And with it open to the main living space below you can keep an ear out for what’s happening upstairs. You’ll also find two more bedrooms with their own private baths. The room to the right as you come upstairs we call the Cannon Room. There is a lovely view of Cannon Mountain. And the bedroom suite to the left we call the Presidential View Room. With amazing views of the Presidential mountain range. This room also offers a bonus room for your own private getaway. On the lower level you’ll find a bunkroom that can sleep 6. With quad bunks and another bed that is mountain side to take in all that view and its own private bath. You’ll also find a cozy home theater with surround sound, a foosball table, microwave and ice maker for hours of fun just waiting for you. Rockwood is located within the Ledgwood development just minutes from Bretton Woods, Cannon Mountain, Franconia, Bethlehem, and Littleton. About a half hour from Lincoln and Loon Mountain. Just over a half hour from North Conway and outlet shopping. Within Ledgewood there are the perfect spots to sit and just take in the day at the Pavilion overlooking one of the two ponds within the 800+ acres of nature conservation luxury development. If you choose you can walk, snow shoe or cross country ski the circular path or back country of the 800+ acres of conservation land. In the summer the wildflowers grace the open areas and roads along Ledgewood. There is no finer place to come and enjoy the Lupines. Come get away for a bit and enjoy Rockwood.
