The East Garden room is a large room (22 m) has a double bed and two single beds (one is fold-away). It is at the first floor of our family cottage. Its two windows opens on our East side garden. Private bathroom with shower en-suite. On AirBnB we also offer the South Music Room and the Olive Suite that host up to 5 more guests. BABUHAUS B&B What we offer is a true B&B in a real family home in the metropolitan area of Milan, directly connected with the M2 metro underground train to the city center, all the town railway stations, exposition areas and airports bus shuttles. We are also in a very favorable position to reach by car motorways, ring roads and two of the town airports. You can access our garden and spring/summer use our gazebo to rest and have breakfast, it you wish. Smokers are allowed. Smoking is forbidden in the rooms but you are welcome to use our balcony and garden. There is a private outdoor parking place and large free parking area on the other side of the road. On AirBnB we offer two other rooms. We can host in total up to 9 guests. Our B&B is officially authorized and complies with the Lombardy regional standards. LINKED TO ANY KEY POINT IN MILANO IN A SHORT TIME We have hereby the M2 BUSSERO Milano metro stop. Using the M2 line (green) you can reach directly all the railway stations in town and the bus/train shuttles to all the airports. With same metro line you also reach all the key areas in Milano: Design Week Fuorisalone districts in town, shopping areas, Via Tortona fashion and design district, Navigli canals and Corso Como nightlife areas. Changing to M1 line you can reach the Duomo, the historic city center (30 min), Fiera Milano City and Fiera Milano/Expo exhibitions sites (Salone del Mobile and many other exhibitions) and then...all parts of the town and city. ACCESS BY CAR We are in a strategic position to access by car motorways A4 (Torino-Milano-Venezia) and A8/9 (Varese, Como and Maggiore Lakes and Switzerland), the North and East Inner and Outer ring roads, the latter providing a fast access also to the A1 motorway (Milano-Firenze-Roma-Napoli). In 6 minutes you reach the three closest motorway exits. We are very well positioned also for two airports. AIRPORTS We are very well positioned also for Linate (LIN) and Orio al Serio (BGY) airports, within 20/30 minutes car drive. You can also reach all the airports, including the outer Malpensa (MXP) airport, via metro M2 connecting directly to the bus/train airport shuttles. We can arrange a favourable direct pick-up service at either Orio al Serio (BGY) or Linate (LIN) town airports. You can contacts us for conditions while booking. MONZA MOTORDROME - FORMULA 1 We are also 17 km from the Monza motordrome, with its FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO D'ITALIA and other car and motorcycle races and events. WORK/BUSINESS AREAS NEARBY We are at a few minutes drive from a number of company premises: ST Microelectronics, Thales, and all companies in M2 Villa Fiorita (Cernusco) area, including HP Enterprise, Canon, Sony, and many others. The same is for the Pessano con Bornago and Gorgonzola industrial areas and Centro Direzionale Colleoni in Agrate Brianza. You can also reach directly by metro M2 both Cernusco, Villa Fiorita and Gorgonzola. We provide house keys to out guests. You then access the guest rooms though a corner of our living room, including stairs for the first floor rooms. We serve breakfast in out dining room in the ground floor. You can access our garden and spring/summer use our gazebo to rest and have breakfast, it you wish. On agreement you can use the house kitchen and table for your own dinner. Laundry service available on request. We speak English and French fluently. For years we have had friends and guests in our house and now, running a B&B, we like to have new ones with us. We are happy to share our knowledge of Milano and Italy and our living experience. And we are also happy to hear from our guests about their home and interests, whenever they like to. At the same time we are able to guarantee your independence and privacy in a warm but respectful style, as we use to do in Milan! The guest rooms are all inside our family cottage. Most of the time one of us is at home and available to help our guests. Bussero is directly connected with the M2 metro underground train to the Milano city center, all the town railway stations, exposition areas and airports bus shuttles. We are also in a very favorable position to reach by car motorways, ring roads and two of the town airports. At the same time your accommodation will be in the attic of our family cottage, in a green and quiet residential area, very close to Bussero town center, with free parking facilities. You can easily walk to the town restaurants and take-aways, all located within 400 m (440 yards). In the Detailed Description part we have already included all the information public transport and car access. A QUITE GREEN AREA, BUT ALSO PART OF MILANO METROPOLIS Bussero is located along the Martesana canal: you can reach Milan with a scenic bicycle path along the waterway through beautiful small towns and parks. Leonardo da Vinci contributed to design parts of this canal in Milano, and somebody claims also in this area. Talking about Leonardo, in Milano city you can see his unique "The Last Supper" mural painting (Ultima Cena), that you can reach directly from Bussero with the MM2 metro rail. With the same train you can reach MUST, the National Museom of Science and Technology, hosting 130 unique real models of Leonardo's incredible machines, and many other exhibits. In short, we are part of the large metropolitan city of Milan, but at the same time we are surrounded by green and rural areas. FOOD AND NATURE This area has also a solid tradition in agriculture, farming and dairy production. Including Gorgonzola cheese, which is claimed by the residents to have originated in Gorgonzola in 879. Some farmhouses sell their products directly to the consumer, also here in town, and there are Farmers' markets nearby. Organic food production has also an important part. Once checked in we give our guests the house keys and you access the house on your own. Smoke is forbidden in the rooms: you are welcome to use our balcony and garden. We normally serve Italian breakfast (sweet stuff - no meat, but includes milk and dairy products). Let us know if you have special preferences (full breakfast, vegetarian, vegan) or specific problems (allergies, intolerances). There is a private outdoor parking place, beyond large free parking area on the other side of the road. If you wish to use it please tell us at reservation time. On arrival and departure we taxi, for free, our guests from/to the metro station, which can be convenient when carrying luggage. This must be agreed well in advance, to cope with our familiar and work obligations.
