Kinver Edge View Annexe

We started building the granny annex in 2018 for our parents future home. As they are not at that stage yet we have decided to rent it out for now. There's plenty of space for two, but we have a sofa bed in the lounge, so it can sleep four. There is a wet room with shower downstairs and ensuite with Victoria & Albert freestanding bath upstairs. We are well positioned to explore the area being on the South Staffs, Shropshire and Worcestershire border and of course Kinver Edge. The granny annex is modern and comfortable in design. You have your own front door which opens into a galley kitchen with full sized cooker with double oven and hob, washing machine, microwave , fridge, freezer, all you need. Continental breakfast welcome pack is provided along with tea, coffee and fresh milk. Lounge area with corner sofa bed, tv with freeview channels. Upstairs is a loft style bedroom with two dormers and low based double divan bed, wardrobe and drawer space. You are welcome to use the back garden and relax on the garden furniture. This space is also used by us. We have a front patio with rattan furniture above the driveway you can also use. On the drive there is a designated guest parking space, bay 1. This is height restricted at 1.95m due to the patio above. Car/small van would be fine. There is also additional parking bays a little further down the road if more than one car or a larger van. Guests have access to the whole annexe, back garden & patio and front patio. EV charger is available for guests to use on request. Use of the EV charger is an additional cost and not included in the price per night rate. The charger is not tethered, please bring your own charging lead. The annex is at the side of our house, so you can have as much or as little interaction with us as you like. We are happy to recommend local attractions and places to eat etc or if there's a item you don't have just knock on the door. Equally we will respect your privacy if you would like to keep interaction to a minimum. The annex does have an internal connecting door between our kitchens, as at some point it will house an elderly parent, but for both our privacies it is locked with a key on our side and has a latch bolt on the guest side. The charger is not tethered, please bring your own charging lead. We live on a residential road in Kinver which is categorised as a village. We are a ten minute walk from Kinver Edge and the Kinver Rock Houses. You can walk into the village where you'll find a butcher, a baker, (but no candle stick maker) a fruit and veg shop all with local produce and a coop. We have five pubs, two which also serve food, a couple of cafes and fish & chip shops, an Indian, Chinese takeaway, Bistro and Italian restaurants and Harley's Smoke House/Dunsley Hall on the outskirts of the village. Quite a lot of choice for a village. There are buses that service the village, but it is easier if you have your own transport. West Midlands Safari Park is 20 minutes away. (8 miles) Merryhill shopping centre 20 minutes away (7.5 miles). Dudley zoo 30 minutes away (10 miles) Shropshire towns of Bridgnorth, Ironbridge and Shrewsbury all within a hour and of course Birmingham city centre which can be reached by car just 20 miles away or driving to one of the local train stations you can then get directly in to New Street/Snow Hill stations and the Bull Ring Shopping Centre.
