The Guesthouse, attached to our family home and has many unique architectural features, ply panelling, recycled and salvaged timbers throughout. The bedroom is minimally decorated. The bathroom and small kitchenette with hand crafted timber features, opens out to an al fresco dining and cooking area with a private deck overlooking the paddocks and rambling bushland. Somewhere to reflect, listen to the birds and whisper gently to the horses. Come and stay, it's quiet here. The Eight Acre Paddock Guesthouse in Glenburn is only a 65km drive north of Melbourne, just off the Melba Highway, heading towards Yea. Please ask me for detailed directions before you embark on your journey. There is a small yet well stocked supermarket in Kinglake (10 min drive). There is NO WIFI as we are in a rural area and have limited access. No smoking inside or within the covered area. NO shoes on inside (bring slippers!) To access the bathroom or kitchenette from the bedroom, you will be stepping out onto the deck, it is covered but it is outside and this may be disconcerting for some people at night. The local pub is a 10 minute drive to Kinglake. A little further, 15-30 minute drive you will find an abundance of restaurants and wineries. We recommend Meletos in Coldstream for lunch or dinner (30 minute drive). We are a rain water property, so please be water wise. We have four rescue sheep, two of which are super friendly so please drive slowly into the property as we also have a young child. Telstra Mobile customers can expect full coverage. Optus, Vodaphone and Virgin have NO coverage. We live on the property so you may see us and you may hear us. Welcome to Glenburn!
