Comfortable studio with shared swimming pool

A comfortable studio gîte for 2 people, with possibility for an infant up to 18 months. You'll find a comfortable sitting area on the ground floor with a 2-seater sofa, a dining table that can be extended to seat 4 people, the wood stove and the kitchen corner. From the living area you step onto the terrace with a dining set, deck chairs and barbecue. The bedroom has a double bed (1.60 x 2.00), that can be separated into two single beds upon request. The bed has an eiderdown duvet, if you're allergic to eiderdown, just tell us and we'll replace it. On the bookshelf you'll find books in English, Dutch and French. We have a large collection of English books to borrow from during your stay. The gîte has a bathroom on the ground floor with walk-in shower and toilet. Our gîtes do not have a television, but you'll have free WiFi access and ample sockets to plug in your own equipment. The gîte is heated with a wood-burning stove and an electrical radiator in the bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen corner The open kitchen is fully equipped to enjoy self-catering, even when on holiday (gas stove with four burners, micro-wave/grill oven, chefs knives...). There's enough space to work and plenty of cutlery and crockery for at least 4 people. Starters kit The basics are there, on a "replace what you use" basis. On arrival you can count on finding at least: bin bags cling film/aluminium foil coffee filters cleaning products toilet paper kitchen roll oil & vinegar pepper/salt/sugar charcoal and firelighters drying rack for laundry and clothes-pegs Linen Bed, bath en kitchen linen are included. Bed linen consits of cover, pillowcases and sheet. Bed linen can be handed in and changed at the end of the week for stays of more than one week. Bath linen are a large and small towel per person and a bath mat. Kitchen linen consists of a tea towels and dish cloths. On Wednesdays you can hand in your bath and kitchen linen and we'll hand out a new set. Pool towels are not included. Baby pack Should you come with a baby, (infant up to 18 months), you 'll find that baby's luggage takes up more space than your own. We propose a baby pack to solve this problem. You can rent a child's bed, linen included, for € 10 per week. And for a a further € 10 we throw in a full baby pack that can me made up of: a high chair playpen buggy (Quinny, with all terrain tyres) backpack style babycarrier baby bath/diaper change pad Our gronds of 2,5 hectares are home to age-old chestnut and fruit trees. There is little more relaxing than whiling away the afternoon gently swaying in a hammock under the walnut tree. We've created several spots with picnic tables and seats where you can enjoy the views. Or you could take a refreshing plunge in the pool (5x8x1.40m) to just come out and bask in the warm sun afterwards. The vegetable garden always has something new to discover and we have mown paths all over the terrain for you so that you can stroll around as you like. Nice detail: Puech the Cabanelles lies on the so called Méridienne Verte, the degree of longitude that the French used to use as prime meridian. The surrounding area has lots of activities to offer, we invite you to study the leaflets available in the gîtes and to seek our advice.
