We are Karen and Nuno and can't wait to share our home with you. We have a large bedroom, plus use of a sitting room where you can relax, read, watch TV or play games that are available. The outside space has stunning views. Our Casa do Cabeço, is at the end of the beautiful village, Alombada, central Portugal. Accessed off the major roads A25 and IC2 and 45 mins from Porto airport. So come and enjoy outstanding views and experience the tranquillity. A warm welcome always awaits you. Accommodation consists of a large, bright, airy bedroom with its own Kitchenette. This is Bedroom # 2 and has a double bed and 2 single beds, sleeping 4. En suite facilities, comprising of a large walk-in shower and a separate toilet with a hand basin. Between the beds, there are bedside cabinets with lights to read by. Kitchenette/dining area, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and espresso coffee machine. Do you like to enjoy a morning cuppa in bed? Take in the wonderous views across the mountains, see stunning sunrises and sunsets with their dramatic pinks and mauves lighting the sky all around the property. Your bedroom has a TV with NOS channel boxes so you can choose from a variety of TV and music channels. Free Parking Your assigned bedroom #2 has a shared sitting room with bedroom #1. This is also the entrance to the property. There is a lovely secluded side garden next to the entrance. Great for sitting, playing games and having a BBQ The winding road to Alombada snakes up and down the beautiful mountainous landscape. When you go over the bridge at The Parque Lazer Da Alombada, you are only 5 minutes away. Stop and see the crystal clear river, refreshing and great for sitting and picnicking beside. All around the property is paths winding through the eucalyptus trees, walk, cycle or jog. If you want beautiful beaches, Costa Nova and Barra are only 30 minutes away. Our local town is Albergaria, 10 mins away, with larger cities of Aveiro and Agueda just 20 & 30 mins respectively. Due to our location and visiting the local area and for shopping, a car is essential. Due to Covid, guest safety and social distancing, we have added TVs and kitchenettes to your very large bedrooms. The side garden is a wonderful space. Sit, enjoy the views, play games and have a BBQ.
