An optimal place to visit Val d 'Orcia in depth and discover the cities nearby. The apartment is located in San Quirico d'Orcia, a few steps from the historic center in the heart of Val d'Orcia. This penthouse has a welcoming entrance, equipped kitchen, cozy living room with armchairs and TV, a complete double bedroom, a second bedroom with a sofa (double bed also) divided from the living room with a sliding wall and a third bedroom with a panoramic terrace of about 15 Sq. m. overlooking the magnificent Val D’orcia. Parking is free and is located in front of the house. 1 euro per person per night (city tax) need to be paid on cash upon your arrival. The apartment has a private entrance through a doorway. Equipped with air conditioning you will always be cool in summer. From your accommodation you are only few minutes away (by foot) to the main path of San Quirico. I live very close to the apartment, I personally take care of it, assuring guests of my availability at all times. I can only wish you a good holiday. Along Via Dante Alighieri (the main path of San Quirico), there are numerous shops and bars where you can taste and buy local products. At the end of the street, you cannot miss a visit to Palazzo Chigi, now the Town Hall, and to the Collegiate Church, a splendid church of the 1200s. San Quirico is among the most evocative Tuscan villages in the heart of Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. It is indeed a fascinating village waiting to be discovered: in front of the apartment you will find a characteristic Romanesque church and behind it Giardino delle Rose, through which you can continue for a nice walk inside the Horti Leonini, designed around to 1540 by Diomede Leoni. In the summer, this well-kept park is the scene of the International Music and Literature Festival called "Tuscan Musical Landscapes". 1 euro per person per night (city tax) need to be paid on cash upon your arrival. From three guests up, the house will be completely open, while with one or two guests one bedroom will be closed. The A1 motorway is a 35 minutes drive from the property.
