The home is very livable, modern, clean and comfortable. Ducted air-conditioning throughout. Kitchen has everything to make it feel like a real home. Plenty of extra towels and blankets. For couples, the main bedroom and open plan ensuite has a queen bed and there is another bedroom set up with either king singles, or zipped together as a king bed. There are two twin bedrooms, one of which works well with the beds pushed together. A single bedroom with a inner spring mattress also available for the floor space . There is a walk-through living area that has a day bed with an optional floor mattress. Entertain together outside with low dining settee and natural gas weber BBQ or retreat into the separate courtyard. The yard has lovely grass to play on and is fenced. Double lockup garage with internal access to house Guests have access to the entire house, garage, courtyard and yard. There is a locked shed in the backyard that is unavailable to guests. Middle Ridge Gem is near the end of a cul de sac which has access to the beautiful Middle Ridge Park. The Ridge Shopping Centre ( Woolworths plus specialty shops and restaurants) and Aldi are just a short walk around the corner. We have hosted many guests who are visiting for a wedding at Gabbinbar homestead. Burstows Funerals and Garden of Remembrance and Crematorium are just over 2kms away. Parkrun South Toowoomba happens on Saturday mornings in the park just across the street. For breakfast there are a few great options. Closest and very highly recommend is Jamaica Blue at The Ridge Shopping centre. Pump on the cnr of Alderley & Ruthven St. Opposite Pump is The Intersection which has Cafe 63, Burger Urge, Subway, Baskin & Robin. Near Ruthven St/Spring St is Kingfishers Cafe at The Springs Nursery - outdoor door tables are in a beautiful garden setting. Picnic Point Cafe and Function centre is popular and has breathtaking views. Just a stroll to Middle Ridge Park, a 450 metre walk to The Ridge Shopping Centre or 680 metre walk to KMart Plaza. Venues by car: Gabbinbar Homestead 2.7km, City Golf Club 3.4km, Queens Park Gardens 4.0km, University of Southern Qld 4.0km, Grand Central Shopping Centre 4.6km Bus stop: Stenner St near Jakirralee Ct (Hail n Ride), Centenary Heights or some routes from KMart Plaza. Our "cleaning fee" is a per booking fee. It enables us to keep the daily rates within a range that makes it viable for us to offer three night stays, while keeping the daily rates low enough so that longer stays are still affordable to our guests. We are usually happy for you to check-out after lunch if you require.
