The apartment is part of a typical Tuscan farmhouse immerse in the green countryside. Completely independent, it consists of fully equipped kitchen with fireplace, living room with TV and sofa bed, a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. The furnishing and decoration are very elegant and evoke the ancient Tuscany traditions. The apartment is completely renovated and is a part of a beautiful Tuscan villa. The farmhouse is immerse in the huge area of Chianti Fiorentino, with green hills, olive groves and vineyards. You can relax in the beautiful house garden, enjoy the evenings outdoors and play with your kids. Guests will have access to all external parts of the property, in order to fully enjoy this piece of paradise. During your stay we are at your disposal for any eventuality. For any advice on where to eat, nice places to visit or live the rural life do not hesitate to ask! The house is situated in the heart of the countryside and is approximately 1.2 km from the town. In the centre you can find all services you need, like banks, the post office, the baker and two small supermarkets. The nearest train stations are about 20 km (Empoli, Montecatini Terme and San Miniato) and they all accessible by public transportation. Cerreto Guidi is a small town in the heart of Tuscany, near Florence, characteristic for its hills cultivated mainly with vineyards. I Renaissance village is centred around a beautiful Medicean Villa, which has recently become part of the UNESCO Heritage. It’ s 'just a few kilometres from Vinci, the birthplace of the great Leonardo da Vinci. Also, in less than 20 minutes you can reach Montecatini Terme, with its thermal springs, Empoli, San Miniato and the hills of Montalbano. Nearby there are picturesque medieval and Renaissance countries, small jewellers to visit! In the summer season Cerreto Guidi has some fine festivals to enjoy, too - the Palio del Cerro is an annual event with period costumes and Renaissance spirit, pitting the neighbourhoods against each other in races and games of skill. There are sagras, food festivals, dedicated to duck and wild boar, as well as wine. Moreover in the surrounding villages it a succession of festivals. From the farmhouse you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Fucecchio Marshes Nature ReservE the largest Italian inland marsh, which houses during the year more than 200 different species of birds. The marshy area therefore offers exceptional ideas for bird watching and nature photography. The beautiful Tuscan cities of Florence, Pisa, Pistoia and Lucca are reachable in less than 45 minutes away by car. Also, in less than an hour, you can reach some of the most popular seaside resorts of Tuscany, such as Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Castiglioncello. From the house you can finally enjoy the magnificent views of the highest peaks of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Apuan Alps, perhaps at sunset and see the mountains that turn pink! Children and pets are welcome in our house !!! If you want we can also provide a cot and the necessary equipment (changing table, highchairs for infants, etc...)
