Fully furnished apartment located in a Grade 2 listed building in the heart of Coalbrookdale. Conveniently located opposite The Coalbrookdale Inn, a lovely family run pub. The apartment has it's own car parking space & is a short walk to the centre of Ironbridge. Enjoy exploring what the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge & Shropshire has to offer including Museum of The Gorge, Blists Hill Victorian Town & Enginuity for the children! This is a fully furnished apartment with a kitchen equipped with a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, hot drinks machine & other essentials to make your stay feel like home. Bedding, towels, shampoo, shower gel & soap will be supplied during your stay & if you have any other special requests don't hesitate to ask. You can look forward to a comfortable nights sleep after a long day sightseeing. The cosy living room has a comfortable day bed which can quickly be changed into a double bed if required. The dedicated parking space is located at the rear of the apartment. Be wary when arriving that depending on the direction you’ll be arriving from there is a tight turn to your accommodation just after the traffic lights where the road narrows. Access will be gained by means of a key safe located by the front door. The centre of Ironbridge is just a short 15 minute walk from the apartment. We like to give our guests space so during your visit we will be available if you need us. We will aim to respond within the hour. Or for anything urgent you can call us. Coalbrookdale is a village in the Ironbridge Gorge containing a settlement of great significance in the history of iron ore smelting. In a short walk you will be at the world's first iron bridge which was erected over the River Severn in 1779. There are many attractions in the local area that will keep you busy for hours. You can enjoy a walk across the first ever cast iron bridge & treat yourself to amazing fish & chips from The Ironbridge Fish & Chip shop located on the High Street. If your in the mood for something sweet don't miss Vanilla Ice opposite the bridge. Look forward to a family fun day out at Blists Hill Victorian Town and experience what life was like when Britain ruled the world, meet some (almost) real Victorians in their authentic shops and cottages and watch tradespeople in action! Enginuity is located right behind your accommodation, enjoy a fun-filled hands on science & engineering centre. You can discover how a blast furnace works & learn about the very first electric car which was made in Coalbrookdale. Jackfield Tile Museum is home of British tile designs with galleries packed with dazzling examples from the very best designers. The village of Coalbrookdale is close to the popular towns of Telford & Shrewsbury. There are many attractions in Telford including Telford Shopping Centre for a spot of shopping, Telford Ice Rink, TenPin Bowling, a large town park & Southwater which hosts lots of your favourite restaurants. There are regular bus routes that go to both Telford Town Centre & Shrewsbury. There are also some great taxi firms if you don't fancy driving.
