Sweet Lyttel Cottage

One of the earliest cottages in Lyttelton. Fully renovated inside and out, with a stunning view of the harbour from everywhere in the house and the huge back garden. The Lyttel Cottage offers amazing sun and views from all areas of the house. The large deck further offers a great space to relax and enjoy the views of the harbour, hills and the garden. Wake up to spectacular views from the bedroom window in a queen size bed. The bedroom also offers a reading/relaxation area with a couch and low lying coffee table. Kick back and relax in the lounge on the comfy mattress-couch which transforms into a second bed and keep yourself warm (on winter nights) in front of the fireplace (see Other things to note below). The kitchen has a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, dining table and has cooking utensils/cutlery for your use. A heat pump is available to heat up the whole house. Recently renovated bathroom has a shower over bath, sink and toilet with a second toilet down the hall. Wifi available Some spaces (one bedroom and a couple of cupboards) will be locked for personal items, however all other rooms and cupboards will be available for use. I will be available if needed however for the most part, you will have the place to yourself. Lyttelton Village is 5 mins walk down the hill with quaint shops, cafes, bars and the weekly Saturday Market to enjoy! Private parking space is available. The number 28 bus departs from the bottom of the hill (5 minutes walk down) generally every 20 minutes. This place ideally accommodates up to 2 people, but can allow up to 4 guests with the mattress-couch in the lounge for the 2 extra guests. Cleaning fee non-negotiable. For use of the log burner, please contact us and we will provide instructions, wood and fire starters for your use - the house should be warm enough with the use of the heatpump.
