If you're looking for a place away from the crowds, head to the northern tip of Door County and spend some time near quiet Europe Lake and Newport State Park. You can walk among the cedars and pines, along the beach or through the meadows. Even on busy weekends, you won't see crowds. Calm, shallow Europe Lake is a great alternative to beautiful but powerful Lake Michigan~ wonderful for kayaking and paddle boarding. Great for families with children. If you want more of a sandy beach, Lake Michigan's beautiful Hotz Beach is a two minute drive or bike ride. Just a 15-25 minute drive south and you can take advantage of all rest that Door County has to offer; the shops, theatres in the woods, galleries, restaurants, etc. There is no public transportation, but we are close to the Washington Island ferry service. **Room tax (5.5%) is included in rate **Bedding is included and beds will be made when you arrive, however we ask that you BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS. Thank you. **From June 19th - September 4th, we rent by the week with check-in and check-out from Saturday to Saturday only. Please be advised when booking your dates.
