High Coast / Höga Kusten -Röda huset

This is a holiday property with serveral houses that can be rented completeley seperately (no shared common spaces) or together for larger groups. This booking is for the "Red house" and the "Guest house". The red house is the big house and the guest house is a smaller side-house. The Red house has got a kitchen with dining-table, small living-room upstairs, one and a half bathrooms, two double-bedrooms (+one crib). The guest house has a large double bed and a small private terrace. In total we have 4 houses that are divided, but normally used as a whole for our large family to gather at. There are 2 larger houses and 2 guest houses. We have divided the property into two bookings. This booking contains the red house and the guest house. If you are interested in renting both properties, let us know! The location of the houses are on the side of a mountain, facing south with a fantastic view! There is an unrestricted 180 degree view from east to west with rolling hills, The view contains the river Ångemannaälven, farmscape, forest and a small lake that reflects the sunset in the evening. The ground floor of the Red house contains a large hallway, a kitchen with dining-table, and a very spacious bedroom with a bathroom and shower in the adjacent room. Upstairs there is a smaller living-room inside the other very spacious bedroom (ink crib). There is also a balcony overlooking the view and sunset. This bedroom has got a bathroom. The Guest house is a smaller house next to the Red house. It has got a double bed and a small terrace by the entrance. The guests have complete and exclusive access to everything but are not allowed to use any of the fireplaces! We live in Stockholm and are available by email and phone, but we have a contact person that lives close-by and will manage the houses. She will greet the guests on arrival, clean the houses and make the beds with fresh sheets before arrival. The house is situated within the High Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site for its unique and highly scenic land and seascape and its distinctly red Nordingrå granite cliffs and rocks. Great for kids with playground, sandy beach and piers. The water is often warm compaired to other places. Sometimes the kiosk is open. - The river Ångemannaälven. There are several piers to bathe from along the river. - The ocean. Rotsidan is a fantastic spot along the coast with a long shoreline of cliffs. Things to see and do: - High Coast Whiskey distillery. Safe climbing where you are attatched to a wire with a harness. Suitable from complete beginner to advanced climber. No equipment needed. The closest airport is High Coast Airport. It is a 20 min drive from the house. You can rent a car at the airport or prebook a taxi.
