If sharing the space is a concern for you please don’t hesitate to ask any questions about current guests. Rooms are private and you are given a lock and key for security and privacy. PLEASE NOTE: this room as with all our rooms has an automatic discount applied at time of booking for guests staying seven days or more or 28 days or more. This room can accommodate two guests comfortably. If you happen to be traveling with an additional guest please make sure that you let us know at time of booking and reflect the number of guests in your booking request. Guests have access to the room and Will be given a key upon arrival to lock the room for security and privacy. Any space outside of the bedroom is considered shared space and may be shared with an additional renter. You may also use the patio and bbq is available for use. The washer and dryer are located in the apartment and is available for use we do ask that you please use it when you have a full load In addition to that the washer dryer is shared with the owner so please be conscious of other guests and the hosts. Guests can interact with us at their discretion.(will probably only see us on laundry day) both rooms have their respective locks and keys for total privacy PLACES OF NOTE: We are less than a mile from Winthrop Hospital. SHOPPING : Supermarkets- The area has several supermarkets within a 5 mile radius some are in walking distance. FITNESS: There is an LA fitness and synergy gym located within a 1 mile radius. Closer to the mall area there is a planet fitness as well as an I love kickboxing location DINING & ENTERTAINMENT- in walking distance there is a great shopping center (The first of three shopping centers) that includes chipotle,Panera, a pizza place and a fantastic burger and lobster roll restaurant that has specialty beers. There is also a Harmon drugstore in the same shopping center Across from that shopping center there Is another larger shopping center with a grocery store,liquor store, cards and gift store, another pizza place, a Mexican restaurant, UPS store, Gamestop and a nail salon just to name a few merchants. There are an additional two shopping centers nearby that includes a Staples, several restaurants and a supermarket but best to drive to those locations as I believe it will be too long of a walk after purchasing items. We are also very close to Roosevelt field mall which includes a recently renovated AMC theater and the surrounding mini malls/shopping centers and chain restaurants as well as some smaller local restaurants. there is a Walmart, a Target, bJ’s and a Costco. If there are any other businesses or locations you would like to know the proximity of to the apartment please ask via the chat feature TRANSPORTATION: LIRR-there are two LIRR stations near by and within walking distance. There is the Mineola station and the Merillon station. BUS- the N24 is a short walk away And then of course there is Uber. As stated before there are many places that are also in walking distance WHAT WE PROVIDE: What we provide upon arrival- when you arrive at the apartment we will provide you with an entrance key and a room key. There are towels and a change of sheets. We also provide one roll of toilet Paper One paper towel roll & one tide pod (this is provided once) if you’re staying a week or less this should be sufficient for your stay but we ask guests staying more than a week to purchase their own toiletries and detergent after that. GARBAGE/RECYCLING: Garbage and recycling days are as follows: Garbage is Monday Wednesday and Thursday Recycling (which is required by New York State so we ask that you please comply) is Tuesday for cans and bottles. Thursday is paper and cardboard small paper items are to be put in a bag large cardboard are to be broken down and can either be put in a bag if small enough or left out if too bulky. please put these items out according to the day PARKING: Parking- there is ample parking in front of the house. Driveway - you may use the driveway briefly to move your items into the apartment. - During the winter months we have to arrange all cars in the driveway when it snows due to the local snow removal policies and laws. We will remind you to do this anytime it snows enough to warrant this. We usually arrange the cars in order of who needs to leave in the morning first as to not hinder anybody’s schedule. Once the roads are clear and the driveway is clean you can park the car back on the street.
