Summer at The Beach House is special. Relaxing after returning from a swim or a walk along the pristine beach, the boardwalk or a round of golf, you can enjoy the stunning views from the verandahs while relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Recently renovated in a style which combines the essence of a shabby chic beach cottage with the Hamptons and provincial France this lovely house offers a location which is only a 3 minute walk to the ocean and the river. The kitchen is a haven for those who love to cook and the pantry is well supplied. It is fully equipped with all of the essentials including a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, and Nespresso machine. Pots and pans and serving platters are provided as is tableware, glassware and cutlery and servers. A gas barbecue is situated on the verandah. The lounge furniture consists of two comfortable couches, an ottoman, an occasional chair and coffee table. The dining table seats six. A Smart TV, Chromecast, DVD player and a Bluetooth speaker are in the main living area. French and English DVDs, magazines, books and board games are available for guests’ enjoyment. The main guest bedroom is situated on the top floor with the kitchen and living/dining space. The second bedroom and bathroom are on the ground level with a more casual living space. Beds are prepared for guests’ arrival and bath towels and toiletries are supplied. Beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella are also provided as are sun lounges for use in the garden. The large garden has beautiful lawns and native flowers, and a bountiful olive grove. A generous vegetable patch is available for guests’ use. Guests have the entire property except for the owner's bedroom and some locked storage cupboards. There is self check in access. The owner is available at all times via mobile, text and email. The town of Guilderton is where the Moore River meets the Indian Ocean. This pristine area is an idyllic coastal setting 100 km north of Perth. Guests are able to enjoy the Guilderton Country Club facilities and golf course. The Country Club offers an evening restaurant and a café is located near the lower carpark. The area is a haven for birdwatchers and in season whales are seen travelling north. Walking trails meander along the river and a boardwalk and jetty offer great fishing opportunities. The beach is about 4 kms long and absolutely pristine...unless the winter storms bring in some seaweed from the crayfish laden reefs offshore. The Moore River is ideal for kayaking, swimming, boating and fishing and a guided cruise boat operates up to "The Desert" for picnics. There is no public transportation to Guilderton from Perth. The town is fairly flat and perfect for walking. Nearby towns include GinGin, Seabird, Ledge Point and Lancelin. Pets are not allowed. There is a strict no party policy. The owner reserves the right to cancel bookings where these conditions are not met. While there are two small shops are in the town they provide limited fresh food.
