The Loft House is so VERY Unique...Quirky...with a RETRO Theme that is warm and charming. DOWNSTAIRS is very spacious with a open plan Kitchen /Living area, lots of comfortable seating,Fireplace, Split system to keep you warm in the Winter and cool in the Summer. The bathroom is spacious and is also a disabled bathroom. There is a Double bed area with a privacy screen. UPSTAIRS has a very spacious Bedroom plus a Bathroom with a Claw Foot Bath,Bed Settee & Netflix TV. LONG TERM RENTALS WELCOME Situated in West Gippsland...The Loft House was in its original form part of The Darnum Musical Village. It has been lovingly restored and is just the perfect place for people who would like to go back in time and enjoy a nice getaway...either as a couple...a family...or a group of friends /couples to enjoy time together. There is plenty of room for 6 people. There is a carport at the front,plus parking for additional guests. There is a split system to keep you warm in Winter and cool in Summer.There are also fans upstairs and downstairs. An abundant supply of wood will be supplied for the fireplace. NETFLIX in the upstairs bedroom/ living area.... plus a Claw Foot Bath !! There is a new gas barbecue at the front of The Loft House... cook, eat and soak up the views and peaceful space. The kitchen has everything you need... cooking utensils, dishes ect plus coffee machine, Tea,Coffee,Sugar,Milk, Jam, and basic pantry provisions/items. There are also Board Games,DVD's and Books. At the front of The Loft is a private paved area where you can sit and relax and enjoy the view plus a large garden/park area out the back where you can also sit and soak up the country view. Peace,Quiet and Privacy will make for an idyllic getaway for couples,family and (Website hidden by Airbnb) is comfortable ,relaxing...and SPECIAL . Extra fold-up beds are available for additional guests if required. PLEASE NOTE*** The nightly charge is for 1 bed/ bedroom ....whether it be for 1 person or 2. If there are 2 guests that require 2 bedrooms then you must book for 3 !! There is a charge of $30 per night per person for the extra bed(s) .. which covers the linen etc. The front of The Loft is your own private space...there is also a large Garden / Park area at the back where you can sit and relax. I really enjoy greeting and meeting my guests... I am available and contactable at all times and can answer any questions that you may have. I will be happy to assist you with ideas and information on places to visit,dining out etc. The key can be left for you if you would prefer to check yourselves in. I will be available by text/phone or personally at any time during your stay if you require. Darnum is a small country Farming town set in the rolling hills of West Gippsland.... less than an hour's drive to : Mount Baw Baw for the snow (Tobogganing,snow boarding,cross country and down hill skiing) a great place to visit all year round. Inverloch for the beach. Walhalla has an historic Tourist Village,well worth a drive. Mirboo North is 15 mins drive and there is a boutique brewery where you can sample and purchase their beers. Mount Worth National Park is 15 mins away also and is very picturesque,a wonderful place for a bush walk or to explore/relax. Lardner Park is 12 mins away and is Gippsland's premier exhibition venue with events there most weekends. Darnum has a General Store/Tearooms Cafe which has nice coffee and a great place for breakfast in front of the fire. A Post Office/Petrol Station all just 1 km away ! Warragul is 5 mins away and has many top quality Restaurants and Wineries...a variety of places to shop...everything you require...and a Hospital and great Golf Course. Yarragon is 5 mins away in the other direction and has tourist specialty shops and many cafes. Darnum has a bus service which runs into Warragul ( which is 5 mins away ) and from Warragul there is a V Line train service. Darnum is the centre of the West Gippsland cycling ( Professional and leisure) If you wish to bring your bikes there are some nice bike rides to enjoy. CLEANING. The Loft House will be thoroughly cleaned between stays using highly effective and stringent methods recommended by AIRBNB and the Australian Health Department. Because of this I am no longer offering same day check-ins. If it is mid week then contact me and we can work something out.
