Quinta da Fontoura is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. Comfortable and cozy farmhouse, located in the countryside in Central Portugal, near Aveiro City, town known as “Venice of Portugal”. Cabanal Suite has a main double room and a living room area that can be converted in a second bedroom. Has a maximum capacity of 4 guests. "Quinta da Fontoura" has a huge garden with all types of animals and flowers and a little enchanted forest for you to discover. Our magnificent biologic swimming pool and lake, with 700 square meters, are filled with fresh spring water from our very own spring located inside the farm. Our friendly staff will be available for you during your entire stay. To serve you or simply give you some travel advices. You have plenty of things to do in the neighbourhood, such as sightseeing tours, chariots tours and horse riding lessons. If you want to explore the area by yourselves we recommend you to rent a car to visit beaches, landscapes, traditional villages and fishing harbours, and the secular boat trips called “moliceiros”, name of the very old boats from the river “Ria de Aveiro”. If you are a food and wine lover there are lots of places to visit that we can recommend you. “Quinta da Fontoura” is easily reached from Aveiro City, just 16km away and the closest beaches, Costa Nova e Barra just 20km. We are also just 1 hour driving from Oporto airport and 3 hours driving distance from Lisbon airport. On demand you can enjoy the traditional gastronomic meals, made by our own staff, served in any of the many wonderful and romantic corners of the farm, close to the swimming pool, in the garden under a tree or even in the forest at a very reasonable price of 20€ per person, including drinks. Daily breakfasts served at the “mangedoura”, bed linens, bath towels and cleaning service once a week are included in the rates. Cable TV and WIFI access are available.
