Casa Laura Grande is a very modern apartment within a new apartment block in the hills just above Menaggio. The most amazing views over Lake Como are to be had in this amazing spot. Beautiful from the private garden and even more so from the roof top swimming pool and deck area. The swimming pool is located on the roof top and not in your private garden. To reach it up to flights upstairs and from here you will have the most amazing view! The pool is open from 15th May to 31st September. The stark white block building is quite new for Lake Como standards, very modern but still fits in with the lush landscape that surrounds it. The inside of the apartment reflects the modernist style of the building but at the same time is very comfortable with beautiful rustic wood floors and modern furnishings offering the perfect mix of styles that fit together easily. Private parking is just outside the front door offers easy loading and unloading or your luggage and shopping. Entering the front door you are welcomed by a large open space living area. A large kitchen with ample counter space so even if everyone wants to help with the cooking there is room for all!! The large dining table seats eight easily. The large and comfortable sofa also offers seating for everyone. The private garden and patio offers you an outside living room doubling your diving space thru large floor to ceiling sliding windows letting in lots off light! Downstairs are the four bedrooms. The first room has 2 single beds that are separated and can not be pushed together. The second room consists of two single beds pushed together and are made up as two singles. The third bedroom has one double bed. The fourth bedrooms also has one double bed. There are 2 toilets, one separate shower room and one full bathroom with shower, basin and wc. Casa Laura is located in the hills above Menaggio, we do recommend having a car. There are lots of hiking options in the area, starting from Monte Grona and the Upper Plesio area of Menaggio is approx 10 minutes drive away, this is where shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants are, however there are 2 restaurants within walking distance from the Casa Laura complex. Casa Laura Grande is the perfect place to get away from the busy tourist hub of Menaggio but still close enough to town to enjoy the events and lake front.
