An ideal romantic getaway for a relaxing break or simply enjoying the countryside and many historical and local attractions. Enjoy privacy and seclusion in this stunning self-contained English oak barn with your own front door into: lounge with sofa, Smart TV with Netflix and table and chairs for 2. Fully fitted kitchen with 4 ring halogen hob, eye level oven with grill, dishwasher, fridge, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle and many utensils etc. Separate dual aspect bedroom with king size bed (orthopedic mattress) and feather duvet with white cotton bed linen, leading to bathroom with contemporary walk in oversized shower. Overlooking English country garden with parking for 1 car in private driveway. Guests staying on self catering basis are expected to bring their own provisions however if you are staying overnight then we can provide a jug of milk by request for making tea and coffee. A variety of teas and coffees are available for guests use. We can also offer bike storage (at your own risk) overnight, under cover. NB Breakfast can be arranged to your door by advance request at weekends and is chargeable at £10 per head - please enquire at time of booking. Guests benefit from own front door and have 1 allocated parking space outside the front door of the barn. We ask that guests park with consideration for others please. Sometimes we may ask guests to park in another space, as necessary. Guests are welcome to walk around or sit in our tranquil garden with its many hidden gems and points of interest. There are a variety of hidden patios including a walled area with outdoor sofa! We are proud to share that a recent guest said it was the best private garden they had every visited! Guests are welcome to enjoy total seclusion and privacy whilst the owners Mark and Janice are able to provide information and advice if required. Our luxurious and unique one bed oak barn is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Surrey Hills within walking distance to famous Devil's Punchbowl (NT with cafe) where you can enjoy walking, running, cycling etc. The South Downs National Park and Queen Elizabeth Park are also a short drive southbound on the A3. There are a number of great National Trust properties nearby and places of historic interest to visit including: Jane Austen's house in Chawton, Petworth House, Uppark in South Harting, International Polo at Cowdray and West Wittering sandy beach on the coast. Please refer to our website for more information. With complete privacy and nestled on the edge of woodlands guests can walk out directly onto National Trust common land. The property is set in a peaceful and tranquil semi-rural setting yet with fast access to the A3. Available on a room only basis during week with an additional option of breakfast brought to your door at weekends if requested and agreed in advance (chargeable @ £10 per head). Within a few minutes access to the A3 and within 2.5 miles of Haslemere main line station with frequent train service via the London to Portsmouth line. Waterloo being 45 mins and Portsmouth being 20 mins by train. We can send a taxi list on request so guests can ensure a taxi is waiting for them on arrival.
