Dawn Cottage is a spacious bungalow set in a peaceful location within easy walking distance of Corfe Castle, the village square with its shops pubs & tea rooms & the Steam Railway. The accommodation consists of a bright spacious living room, a modern well equipped kitchen/dining room, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom & a family suite comprising a double bedroom, with sofa & tv & an adjoining twin bedroom. Outside there is a beautiful rear garden with large lawn & patio area to sit and relax. There are four bedrooms; two double bedrooms and two smaller twin rooms. One of the twin rooms is accessed from one of the doubles and forms an excellent family unit with a sofa and colour TV. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, a basin and a W.C., and there is also a separate W.C. All the accommodation is located on the ground floor. Outside there is a small patio area, with garden furniture where you can relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. There are steps leading down to a lovely lawn with mature shrubs, and a great space to let the children play. Dawn Cottage is a delightful property set in a peaceful location and provides an excellent base for families and couples exploring this beautiful area. It is three minutes from ‘The Halves’ common land with its well equipped public playground and which also provides a pretty 9 minute walk to the village square, with its pubs, tea rooms, general store, bakery and the steam railway. Corfe Castle is a beautiful and historic village in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. It takes its name from the ruined Castle which is National Trust. Corfe Castle has a selection of hotels, restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, and shops. Corfe Castle Model Village shows the castle as it was before it was destroyed. Throughout the area there are many excellent walks suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. There are safe beaches at Swanage and Studland, and other less sandy seaside spots at Lulworth, Kimmeridge, and Durdle Door. The coastline from Lulworth to Swanage is part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. The Dorset Coastal Path follows the coast. Places to visit include Durlston Country Park (Swanage), Putlake Farm (Langton Matravers), the Blue Pool (Furzebrook), Monkey World (Bovington), The Tank Museum (Bovington), Brownsea Island to see the red squirrels (boat from Sandbanks); or the deserted village of Tyneham.
