Beautiful self contained apartment up high, facing the ocean and Southern end of Manly beach suitable for short or long stays. Central location where you can walk everywhere-2 minutes to the beach and the Corso (connecting the beach and ferry wharf). Walk to cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, markets, ferry wharf and Manly's attractions. The unit comes with free parking (subject to availability), wifi, smart TV, kitchen basics, linen and comfortable furniture to make your stay relaxing and easy. Open up the sliding doors to an East facing balcony showcasing sparkling sea views, stunning on a sunny day. Check out the surf before heading off to the beach or chill on the balcony chairs and enjoy the serenity! It is the ideal combination of being up high and in the heart of Manly. The apartment is split level with the bedroom and ensuite separate from the living area. The living room has a fold out sofa bed, suitable for 1 adult or two children. There is a smart TV, DVD player and dining table with 4 chairs. In the kitchen is a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and basic cooking equipment if you want to cook your own meals. There are a few steps up to the front door from the corridor and another small flight from the living area to the bedroom. On the rooftop is a common area with a plunge pool and BBQ facilities. Great spot for sunset drinks! A coin operated laundry is also available on the roof. This apartment is in the heart of Manly so you can walk to the beach, ferry, cafes, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, weekend markets, shops and so much more. There are buses, taxis, bike hire and ferries within walking distance if you want to go further. There is also shared resident parking if you bring a car. The host just needs to know if a space is required. I will greet you upon arrival and explain how to access resident parking. If you need help, I will assist you then leave you with the keys. Manly is the quintessential Aussie holiday destination with a combination of natural beauty and a buzzing town centre. Enjoy the sunny beaches and coastal walks, take a fast ferry to the city in 20 minutes, go snorkelling, surfing, whale watching, bike riding or book a boat trip to secluded beaches. In town there is a huge choice of cafes and restaurants to suit all budgets, local boutiques, big name surf stores and weekend markets. The apartment is in a secure building with access for residents only. You can leave the car and walk everywhere. There are bus stops and taxi ranks nearby. Please note-the building behind in Whistler Street is under construction so some noise is occasionally heard from the Western side of the apartment. The noisiest work is complete but tradespeople are still working there. Manly is well serviced by bus routes to the city, North Shore train line and Northern beaches. Taxis and Ubers are available too but by far the best way to travel is on a ferry. You can see Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House as you enjoy the trip to Circular Quay. If you want to stay in Manly there are bike and car hire options. The car park is limited to vehicles under 1.95m height. Any taller than this and the car won't make it past the entrance! Parking is first come first served for residents so the earlier the check in, the better. If arriving at night, there may not be any car spaces left and you will have to park in the council section(after 7pm its $5.50 for the night). The host can advise where to find free overnight parking 10 minutes walk away. For long term stays(more than 3 weeks) a storage cupboard on the ground floor can be provided for large items like a surfboard, golf clubs etc.
