Four poster in beautiful Surrey Hills

Smallburgh is a fine Victorian manor house, of which our home is established in the main wing. All rooms are spacious and comfortable, and maintain many original features. The main house is set in 5 acres of land, of which 3 acres are ours and are available to visitors for relaxation. My wife and I are established entertainment industry veterans, and live with our adorable Afghan hound, Donovan, and his play mate, Siamese cat, Pablo! We are very welcoming and convivial. Smallburgh is 20 minutes by car to and from London's Gatwick Airport; Central London 25 miles away; good train service to London and the South from Dorking Station (4.7 miles away), although our more local station is Holmwood (1 mile away), which also serves London and the South, less frequently. As host, I am generally available, and if not there is nearly always someone here, looking after the affairs of the house. Smallburgh nestles under Leith Hill, the highest point in the County of Surrey. The Smallburgh estate was once an all inclusive Victorian mansion, and is now inhabited by a small community of good natured, country loving folk. The area is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and old world market towns, like Dorking, Reigate and Horsham, and many attractive villages. It is best that you have a means of transport, albeit buses and trains are a short walk away. The Surrey Hills are renowned for their natural beauty, and are a great location for cyclists and walkers.
