Agnesberg

Waterfront property with dock, row boat and wood stove sauna by the water. Agnesberg is situated on an island called Ramsö, a 15-minute public boat ride from Vaxholm and about 90 minutes by boat from Stockholm. Vaxholm is a very nice little town with shops, restaurants and a fortress with a museum. Ramsö is small a car-free island with a year-round population of about 50 people. The island has gravel roads perfect for walking and running. This rental includes two separate houses. The main guest house has two bedrooms with a total of four beds, kitchen and bathroom, and the cottage on the water has a single room with one queen size double bed. One of the bedrooms in the main guest house has a bunk bed, and the other bedroom has a two single beds put together as a double bed, but can be separated at your convenience. The cottage down by the water (about 100 m from the main guest house) is heated but has no running water. I live in the main house on the property. Ramsö is a great place to relax and a perfect starting point to explore the rest of the archipelago - further out, and in towards Stockholm. To get here you need to take a Waxholmsboat (15-minute ride) from Vaxholm, or hop on a Waxholmsboat from Stockholm City (ca 90 minutes ride). Taxi boats are available to and from Vaxholm.
