Trevignano: amazing lake view at 180 degrees

Wake up every morning with the most beautiful view of the lake. Dine under the stars on the spectacular terrace. If you are looking for an alternative to the fast pace and crowded spaces of holiday villages, this charming and modern apartment is the ideal choice. Private parking with automatic gate. Modern and equipped kitchen. Comfy leather sofas. The lake offers a choice of beaches, walks and restaurants. Art and archeology are around the corner: from Etruscan tombs to medieval villages. This is a very large and bright apartment. It enjoys the most beautiful views of the lake thanks to a huge terrace with a veranda that runs on two of its sides. Please note: newly installed air conditioning! This is a must if you are renting during the summer. Cool, quiet, programmable. The dining table on the terrace under the veranda is extendable and can accommodate 10 people comfortably. There is also a rear terrace with a large shed/storage at the disposal of guests for storing suitcases and whatnot. Located in a quiet residential area in a modern villa, the apartment is at about 500 meters from the beach, the promenade of the lake, and the historic village center. Everything is within walking distance, but it is recommended to have a car especially if you are traveling with children. The village offers a generous choice of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets (among others 'Carrefour' is open 24h/day and is less than 100 meters away). In the square of the village people can find a handy free drinking water dispenser (both still and sparkling). At arrival, guests will find water in the fridge and a welcome breakfast. 2 bedrooms: One queen size bed master bedroom with patio doors to the rear terrace. A second bedroom with one queen bed and one single bed. A spacious bathroom with shower. We also installed 2 outdoors warm and cold showers on the rear patio, we love the flexibility it gives. So refreshing in those hot days. The bathroom is fully renovated with an extra spacious walk-in shower. The lounge/living room is very large and bright with patio doors onto the terrace and entrance to the kitchen. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. Scavolini cabinets. Gas hob and oven and a microwave. It also has a marble top high table with stools that you can use for breakfast or just extra work surface to prepare snacks or delicious Italian food. You will find everything you need. From the kitchen you can also exit directly to the terrace through a glass door. Parking is safe and private with and automatic sliding gate just a couple of steps off the main door. You will find plenty of towels both shower size and hands/facial. Beds are made (we provide all linen freshly washed at the start of each rental), shower gel, hair dryer, iron. If you are renting for more than just a few days and would like to add an extra cleaning service while you are there, please let us know and we will arrange a cleaning lady to come for a convenient fee that you can pay directly to her (not part of the rental agreement). Wi-Fi available on request. My dearest friend Ada, who lives in Trevignano all year round, will be your wonderful host and be available to you from your arrival and during your stay for questions and advice about Trevignano, surroundings and for anything that may help making your stay more pleasant. The apartment is in an ideal location to enjoy the beauty of the lake in peace and tranquility in both winter and summer. The lake offers many beaches where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas: 'Casina Bianca' beach has free parking (this is important!!), and the best priced restaurant (!!) around the lake. It is a joy to have lunch under their pergola with their house wine and fast and friendly service. Not too far, next to Anguillara, the beach of Vigna di Valle has the most gradual descent and clear water that feels like a children's pool. You can walk quite a distance into the lake with water waist deep. The smaller Martignano lake is around the corner from Trevignano. You should not miss a visit to this site if you can plan your time: this lake offers a wonderful experience with its beach between green grass and trees and the clear water. It is considered a natural protected area. Visitors park their car at the bottom of the hill and take a shuttle to the beach or just walk (shuttle is best on the way up because up-hill). If you love history, art and architecture, you will find plenty of medieval villages (like Sutri, Calcata), or can take a stroll through the Etruscan tombs at Cerveteri. Impossible to list all the sites: you should take the time to look this area up on the internet and make it your own discovery project! Or just relax, enjoy the local beaches and try a different restaurant every night. The castle of Bracciano offers daily tours and is visible right across the lake in the distance from the apartment's terrace. The apartment is near a bus stop and only 50 meters away from via Mosca (the main street of the village). Bracciano's Train Station is 6 km away where you can take the Cotral bus service to Rome city center (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele), or reach San Pietro Station or Trastevere in 30 minutes by train. It is possible to walk anywhere to Trevignano from the apartment, but if you are travelling with children, or during the hot summer months I would recommend that you hire a car. Our apartment is located on a short hill road, this is why it enjoys its majestic view of the lake.
