Nice cottage for 2 persons (one extra person possible on extra bed in livingroom) It is possible that we put a little tent in the garden for Children (€ 10 per night ,2 sleepingplaces ) Pets are not allowed. Childcot on request (€ 5 per night) At 25 km from Amsterdam, in the polder countryside and an 8 minutes from the Zaanse Schans. Our house have a terrace and a big (shared) garden all around the house. The guesthouse is behind our house. We have a free big parking place. The house has 1 bedroom (auping 160/200 cm), The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and relatively. We have free WIFI and digitale television. Our house is 8 minutes away from world's famous open air museum Zaanse Schans, with its historic houses and windmills to visit. Here you will feel and relive the history of the Netherlands. We live in a beautiful biking area. You can rent a cano. The house is of course also a perfect operating base for visiting and going out in Amsterdam. There is a train every 15 minutes from Wormerveer to Amsterdam Central Station (17 minutes ride). To the trainstation it is 6 minutes by car. (free parking). You can go with the little bus (5 times a day) to the trainstations. Not on Sundays. The bus goes on 10.00 am /12.00 / 14.00 pm/ 16.00 pm/18.00 pm from Oostknollendam to Wormerveer train station. The bus go back from Wormerveer on 09.50 am/11.40 am/ 13.40 pm/15.40 pm/17.40 pm. to Oostknollendam. Beaches are at a 20 minutes drive away. Edam and Alkmaar (famous cheesemarkets), Monnickendam, Volendam, Marken and Haarlem at 25 minutes. Schiphol Airport is at 35 km. There is a direct train from Schiphol to Wormerveer (22 minutes ride).
