The "Camper's room" 30 m2, newly insulated, includes table and chairs, sofa bed, double bed, fold up bed and a wood heater, bring your own wood or buy it from us $5/day. We were advised to keep our place as authentic as possible so you will find old paint and salt damp stains and the windows scratched just apreciate the old age of our property and imagine how life was back in the 1870s. Read carefully this room is the economic room it's price is a bit more than a caravan park but cheaper than the local pub therefore don't expect luxury it is very basic and authentic, it was previously a studio so yes the floor has paint stains but is thoroughly vaccumed and cleaned for each booking. In order to help workers keep their expenses low this room works with packages: Linen package (sheets, towel, pillow and quilt) for an extra $5 per head per stay Wood package (for the winter) for an extra $5 per night Breakfast package for an extra $10 per head per day. Please let us know your needs. A shower and a toilet are outside the room. Guests must keep everything clean as the bathroom and toilet are share with other rooms. The property is on a slop so there is steps here and there. We are looking for WWOOFERS so there is always work to do around the place or cleaning. Murray Bridge is quite well positioned to a lot of regional attractions within an hour or so like the aerodrome, the Monarto open range zoo, the steamed train, the paintball park, several festivals, Adelaide and all its attractions and much more. The town has all the amenities for the traveller and a welcoming country town feel with its own attractions as: the famous paddle boats, the golf course, the speedway and horse racing and the Captain's Cottage Museum and more. Being so close to town, it's a 5 minutes drive,15 minutes bike ride or 25 minutes walk to go there. When you book for this room it's all yours, nobody else can book it. To keep the accommodation's fee low and because the amenities are shared, guests are expected to keep everything clean after each usage, make sure the shower is hair free, the toilet bowl clean and the dishes washed and put back into the cupboards or we would have to charge a cleaning fee, more importantly nobody likes to live among other people waste. Cleaning gears are avalaible just ask for it if you can't find them. Being environmentally friendly we ask for the rubbish to be recycled and left over food kept aside for our chooks, let us know when you have some. Guests are expected to moderate their water and electricity consumption (like turning of lights when stepping out). Sorry our accommodations aren't suitable for little kids.
