Right at your doorstep a breathtaking scenery awaits you, with cross-country ski-tracks and wonderful hiking trails. !!! Important COVID Update: Starting May 25th 2021 you can book your stay at my beautiful ranch again! My apartment offers a bedroom, a fully equipped designer kitchen, a bathroom and a private patio. In the living room you will find a cozy couch which may also serve as a second bed for one of the two guests (However the bedroom and kitchen-living room is separated only by a curtain). The apartment is located on the ground floor. The occupancy tax of 1,50€/person/night is already including in the booking price! You’ll find the ranch apartment fully furnished with private access. The patio offers breathtaking views. Please access horses and the stable only under my supervision. I am happy to welcome my guests personally. During your stay I am available for any questions regarding the apartment or the region of Schladming-Dachstein. I live in the same building so I am easy to reach. Schladming is internationally known as one of the top ski regions. Within 1.5 km from my ranch you can reach the unique 4-mountain ski area Hauser Kaibling / Schladming Planai. Also close by is the Schladming indoor swimming pool, the cross-country skiing paradise for nordic sportsmen in the Ramsau, as well as the Dachstein Glacier which is open all year round. In spring, summer and autumn the region is transformed into a paradise of hiking trails, mountain biking tours and climbing opportunities. Rest, health and refreshment can be found within 1.5 km at the Kneipp facility in the forest and a swimming lake. My Ranch is located between Aich-Assach and Haus im Ennstal close to all the important attractions in the Region. Schladming is only a 10 minute drive from my Ranch. The nearest airport is in Salzburg which can be reached within 1.25 hours. You can reach the Ranch easily by car. Right in front of the house you will find a parking spot free of charge. SKI BUS 2019/2020 A ski bus departs from Hauser Bahnhof to Hauser Kaibling (about 10 minutes away from my Ranch by foot). Departure times at Hauser Bahnhof: 8:23 AM / 9:33 AM / 10:58 AM Return times from Hauser Kaibling: 2:35 PM / 3:15 PM / 4:00 PM / 5:30 PM UNIQUE EXPERIENCE- HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS ON A HORSE RANCH For those adventurers seeking the true experience on a horse ranch I offer private horseback riding lessons to a separate price (for beginners or advanced, such as tournament riding or classic horsemanship). There’s nothing quite like sitting on the back of a horse surrounded by beautiful nature! My professional international trainer Renee Kalfterman brings a lot of experience and know-how and will be happy to offer you a horse back riding lesson during your stay at my horse ranch with your own horse or with Shinaja, my trained Andalusian mare. Renee Kalfterman is one of the best trainers that has ever trained with me. She has had a passion for horses since a very young age. At the age of 21 she already completed her education in Belgium as an equestrian with the focus on riding, raising and breeding. After training horses in Germany and Spain she now trains all around Austria. She is specialized in classic dressage, work in hand and double lunge and also offers circus lessons. If you are interested in taking advantage of a riding lesson please let me know and I will gladly help to make it happen. The price for lessons and boarding are really quite modest. Please note that we respectfully request that payment for the lesson be made in the form of cash. Before you ride you will be asked to sign a “Horse Riding Agreement and Liability Release” form. I can send a copy to you on request and will also have one ready for you upon arrival. Please review it carefully.
