A Little Farm In Marysville. It’s a farm but not as you know it; enjoy the views and the space (we’re on a few acres), the ducks, chooks (Ladies with personality) & turkeys. Take some time out or wander down to the Steavenson River at the bottom of the property – all within walking distance to the centre of Marysville and it’s shops, café’s and pub (300 metres away). So come solo, come as a pair or come as a family or group and explore this beautiful corner of the world. Accommodation features the comforts of home; self-contained, two bedroom (with queen beds), separate bathroom, spacious (64sqm) open plan kitchen-dining-lounge area, and a sofa bed (which can sleep another 2 on a very comfortable matt). Breakfast provisions are provided; eggs (from the chooks when they’re laying), bread, cereal, milk, coffee and an assortment of teas. As well as pantry staples; oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. For time spent indoors there’s plenty of DVD’s on hand to watch, CD’s to listen to or books and magazines to read and there’s a wood fire for those colder days. There’s even a verandah with a daybed where you can laze the day away. I will be there to welcome you and am available if needed. The family residence is nearby on the property however you will have complete privacy with separate driveway access and ample parking. An information folder will be left for you letting you know what you can see and do in Marysville. No pets. No smoking indoors – there will be an ashtray in the verandah area if required. We would appreciate no shoes worn indoors – there are slippers available if needed. Swimming in the dam is not permitted and children need to be supervised around water. Please leave the property as you find it. Check out time is 11am. Marysville is quite literally a natural beauty; Steavenson River runs through the town and by A Little Farm In Marysville, there are numerous walking trails through the surrounding Yarra Ranges National Park, beautiful waterfalls to visit (Steavenson, Keppel, Phantom) and the Lake Mountain Alpine Resort.
