A modern 2 bedroomed villa with private gardens & parking in a quiet lane on the edge of a medieval village with a cafe / bistro. The views from the house and garden are truly stunning and the peaceful setting ensures a relaxed stay. The villa shares a 3500m² plot with the owners house and has its own private gardens of approximately 350m² (approx 3760 sq ft) and parking for several cars. Enjoy cooking on the stone built barbecue and eating al fresco at the covered picnic table or sit on the south facing terrace enjoying views of pic de Bugarach and pic du Canigou. The local area has many walks and cycling routes and an abundance of nature and rare birds. The accommodation includes a large open plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen, a shower room with a walk in shower and two bedrooms; one double and one twin both with generous hanging and storage space. In addition there is a separate utility room with a washing machine and space for outdoor clothing and bikes (not supplied). Free linen and towels are included in the price, on arrival you will be greeted by the owners who will show you how everything works and help you settle in to make sure your holiday starts as soon as you arrive. We are a husband and wife team who live and work in the neighbouring home. We are available should you need us. The village is warm and friendly and offers the experience of village life in the south of France. There is a bistro in the centre of the village ( a 500m walk). Car needed
