Family friendly self contained downstairs area

Located downstairs in our family home, this large room has its own kitchen, lounge area, a king size bed and a single bed. The downstairs bathroom with toilet, shower and basin is located next door to this room and is for your private use along with an office area. Room is equipped with table, chairs, tv with netflix, wi-fi, fridge/freezer, plates, cutlery, pots & pans, toaster, microwave etc. Tea, coffee and basic breakfast supplies such as cereals and spreads are available in the cupboard. The couch in the lounge area also folds out as a sofa bed which we can make up to accommodate additional guests, although it does take up the whole lounge area so can make the room a bit squishy for four people. Please let us know in advance if you need this to be made up before your arrival. Our house is located in Spotswood and is about a 10 minute drive to the city centre so not really within walking distance to the city centre (45 minute walk). We are a 5 minute drive to beaches such as Back Beach, Ngamotu Beach and the port end of the Coastal walkway. There is a Countdown supermarket, takeaway shops and a public laundromat within 5 minutes walk from our house. There is off street parking available outside your room and you may see/hear us coming and going but the downstairs area and bathroom will generally be for your own use. We have an active six year old daughter so you may hear slight noises or creaking floorboards from upstairs. Children are welcome and we have a toybox with toys and books in the room. They are welcome to use our daughters play area outside of our upstairs house which can be accessed via the concrete stairs beside the garage. There is a trampoline and playhouse with slide and she'll probably befriend anyone who comes to play. We also have a swimming pool for use in Summer months. There's also a highchair and baby bath available if needed We live upstairs if you need to ask us any questions otherwise we prefer to give our guests their own privacy downstairs and the upstairs house will be locked off Located 10 minutes drive to the centre of New Plymouth, beaches and the Coastal walkway. We have a Countdown Supermarket, takeaway shops, and laundromat all located within a 5 minute walk to our house although we do have a steep driveway for the walk back
