Independent, quiet room, Bern

Completely independent, nice room with own bathroom, excellent public transport connection to Bern main station (12 minutes busride). Water boiler, refrigerator, microwave oven. No breakfast offered and no kitchen. No parking on the premises (nearby public parking lots). We have a nice, furnished room to let in a quiet and green recidental area in Köniz near Bern. The room has a big, comfortable bed suitable for 2 persons (140 x 200 cm) and a separate bathroom. The room is situated in the basement, and totally independent from the house‘s two other appartements. You will have your own key to the room and to the entrance door and the possibility to live completely autonomous. Should you need help or informations, we will of course be happy to assist you any time. We don't offer breakfast, but a water boiler for making a cup of tee or coffee, a microwave oven and a refrigerator is at hand. No kitchen. You will find a radio / TV-set in the room, as well as free internet access (WLAN). Sheets, linen and towels are included in the price, as well as cleaning. The room is available on a daily (min. 2 days stay) and weekly or longer basis. Surroundings: Within a 5-minute walk you have excellent shopping possibillities, banks, post office, pharmacies and restaurants at Köniz Zentrum. If you should like to go hiking, there are nice trails just around the corner. In about 50 minutes walk you‘ll reach the top of Gurten, with a splendid view of the city of Bern and the Berner Alps. Parking: We have no parking lots on the premises, but we organize payable parking tickets (6 Euro for one day) for nearby public parking lots. Between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. the parking is free. Public transport: From our house to the next bus stop is about 3-4 minutes walk. The bus no. 10 will take you to and from Bern main railway station / Bern Centre in about 10-12 minutes. How to get here: Bus no 10 from the railway station in the direction Köniz/Schliern to the bus stop Brühlplatz. Then a few minutes walk uphill to our house. Public parking lots in the neighbourhood, 6 CHF per night, between 8pm and 7am free. Parking tickets necessary, we can provide them for you, 6 CHF for one day, from 08 to 19. From 19 untill 08 parking is free. No breakfast included.
