Cabin in the woods

The perfect family getaway located in Budapest, Hungary. The cabin is right in the woods of the Buda Landscape Protection Area. The nature and the city are both at your doorstep. Just under the street lays Ördögárok-valley, with a small stream going right through it. The seven-hole-caves are also about a 35 minutes hike away. The city center is reachable in 25 minutes by car, the closest bus station is 5 minutes from the house. Electric heating, and/or fireplace from autumn to spring. All seasons. Ideal for families and couples to disconnect from the stress of everyday life. We have 2 bedrooms upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen-sized double bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. Downstairs we have a fully equipped kitchen, the bathroom with a hidro-massage shower and bath, as well as the toilet with a built-in bidet. The livingroom has a huge flatscreen TV, an expandable table which can seat up to 6 people, a darts board and a couch which can open into a bed if needed. The outdoors area is breathtaking, with a view to the mountain and the valley. The garden is really big, ideal for relaxing, sunbathing, playing with children and keeping your pets. The neighborhood is one of the safest in Budapest, the neighbours are extremely kind and helpful. There are countless hiking destinations close to the cabin, as well as the pilgrimage site of the Nagyboldogasszony templom which is about a 15 minutes walk away. The best way to travel has to be by car, as the city is about a 20 minutes drive away, but public transport is also available, the closest bus station is about 5 minutes away by foot. The pool is open from June to September.
