Drake Studio Lodge, Paradise Point

Welcome to Drake Studio Lodge. A cosy and private, brand new studio apartment located at the rear of the main property and totally detached from our home with two separate entrance/s (front or side). It has a small kitchenette, a very comfortable double bed with storage drawers underneath and a lovely en-suite bathroom. The studio is air-conditioned, has a ceiling fan, flat screen TV and captures great sea breezes through its generous access points. Wifi and Netflix via Chromecast included. Drake Studio Lodge is a wonderful, quiet space for 1 or 2 guests. Our home is in a ‘duck’ street on the northern end of the Gold Coast. Away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise but still easily accessible by car or public transport. The Studio is equipped with a small fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. We also provide a coffee machine with a selection of pods, a variety of teas, milk, bottled water and some tasty lollies. You will be a 2 minute stroll from the Esplanade, broadwater, boat ramp and bus stop. Lovely area to go walking along the foreshore. From the beach front you will see a magnificent sunset over the Coomera River. We can now also offer Netflix (via Chromecast). Guests are welcome to use our garden and to eat or drink anywhere outdoors. We have an electric BBQ for your use in the backyard. On street parking out the front of the property. We respect your privacy however we are very friendly and are more than happy to assist you with any enquiries during your stay and are happy to stop and have a chat if you want to. The name speaks for itself. We think it is paradise! With water at both ends of the street there are 2 walking paths you can choose from to wander into the local village which has many cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. There is a beautiful swimming enclosure in Paradise Point Park. On a Sunday afternoon there is free live music in the park to unwind and relax to. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our home. A car is preferable for our location however, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away (Route 719) which takes you into Southport and connects to the Gold Coast Light rail. The Light rail connects to Helensvale Railway for transport to Brisbane. The Light rail will take you to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. It is an efficient way to get around the Gold Coast without having to use a car. Timetables for bus, train and light rail services are available for your use. Local theme parks are all within a 15 kilometer radius. Harbour Town Outlet shopping is 5 mins drive. Earlier check ins or later check outs may be available.
