Cute cottage near Bonnybeach

September 2021 - My home is currently in a long term rental. My room is locked and not available to guests. There is another 2 bedrooms, with a double and single bed and a single mattress under the double bed. The rest of the house and outdoor areas are available to use, including my personal cookware etc. Please note there is one very effective wall heater, which must have the fan on as well but also a plug in heater in the double room. I don’t really watch TV sorry, so there is no cable or subscription channels but wi-fi access will be provided when you have arrived to stay. I have lots of candles around the place, you are welcome to use them but obviously do not leave them unattended. There is no working air conditioner, but I have never been hot to need it as I think the slate in the kitchen keeps the place cool. Please smoke outside the house, there are ashtrays on the kitchen window ledge. Lounge, kitchen, double and single bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, toilet and front and back outdoor areas. My room and garage will not be accessible. I am a school teacher, so depending on the time of year, I may or may not be in the house at the time of your stay. I.e. school holidays I am generally away, whilst other times I might be around for a few hours in the evening. Am flexible with my sleeping arrangements if you would like the house completely to yourself. If I am in the house whilst you stay, you must be cat friendly and any dogs will need to stay outside. Everything you need is walking distance, presuming you are happy to walk up to 30 minutes. The Longbeach Hotel is the nearest pub by foot and does great meals. You can park on the concrete driveway at the front or on the street. The driveway is shared with my neighbour out the back so please don’t block her access in and out of her home. There are near by bus stops and Bonbeach train station is 10 minutes walk. Please use (Website hidden by Airbnb) for more information about public transport and Uber and local taxis service the area. It is a 10 minute walk to Bonbeach station and the beach and Approximately 25 minutes walk to the Chelsea strip which has a Woollies, restaurants and an assortment of shops. My street is very quiet as it is not a thoroughfare and thus only residential traffic drives past the house. The train is 45-60 minutes to the City, depending on if it is an express or going through the loop and leave every 10 (weekdays) to 20 minutes (weekends). It is 10 minutes in the other direction to Frankston which has much more selection of shops, cinemas, night life and eating establishments. Aldi is a 5 minute drive away in the next door suburb of Carrum. Carrum to Chelsea beaches are absolutely paradise and often deserted except for public holidays or heatwaves.
