Cozy family friendly private apartment farm stay
Come stay at cozy working farm in the Seacoast of New Hampshire. Just an hour from Boston and 20 mins from Portsmouth, this delightful private three-bedroom apartment has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The apartment is furnished with house plants and heirloom family antiques that have been passed down for generations. If you're an antique nerd, you won't want to leave! Attached to your apartment is a certified historic four-story barn that is in incredible condition and fun to explore. When you stay at this cozy apartment, you'll be in the middle of a gorgeous working farm. But we're more than that- we're also a community center focused on sustainability, healing, justice and community. For more information about our non-profit, go to (Website hidden by Airbnb) Sorry, no pets allowed! The apartment is in the center of the farmhouse, between the historic barn and the home of the owner. The owner is a young woman who is the third generation on the property, who is accompanied by her veteran husband, sweet puppy Hazel, baby girl and barn cats! We are excited to host you and are happy to lend you anything additional you might need during your stay (immersion blender? clothes steamer? grill? We got you!). LGBGTQ+ and POC friendly! All are welcome and accepted here. The Seacoast of New Hampshire is a really cool place to visit!! In Portsmouth (just a 20 minute drive), you can find incredible farm to table restaurants, a park on the seafront, a quint downtown with shops- you may think you've traveled to Europe! In Exeter (just 5 minutes down the road), there is Phillips Exeter Academy (where the owner attended high school), Exeter Hospital, a small but sweet downtown with fun cafes and some local shops including women's fashion and a chocolatier. You'll definitely need a car out here, but once you have that it's very easy to get around. We're just five minutes from highway 95. Watch out for north bound traffic on Friday evenings and south bound traffic on Sunday afternoons! The farm is on 100 acres of land, which is most in the woods. If you'd like, you can take a walk through the woods down to our pond. Check for ticks after! Also FYI, all bedrooms are on the second floor so if stairs are a problem for you or someone in your group, be aware! If you’ll be working while here, we have fast and reliable WiFi.
