Close to stunning Oakura Beach, arts, crafts, amazing gardens, walkways and restaurants/cafes nearby. Nestled under the beautiful Kaitake Ranges near the Egmont National Park boundary in a unique sub-tropical microclimate. So much to do here we know you'll have a wonderful stay. Self-contained kitchen, bathroom, queen bed, private deck, off-street parking. Queen bed, bathroom and self-contained kitchen. Stunning garden outlook with your own deck to chill on. The property has been run organically for over 30 years. You'll find Kaitake Farm next door (an organic market garden). We are more than happy to socialise but equally if you just want your own space then Te Whare is the perfect little hide away. Oakura is a lifestyle village with a population of about 1400. The beach, the surf, the Oakura River and the Kaitake Ranges define us as well as the rich Maori heritage that is evident within the landscape (Koru Pa is one of the best examples of pa in New Zealand, a short walk from our place). Many of the people that live in Oakura are artists, surfers and professionals. You can connect to the Oakura - New Plymouth bus service from our place (2 minute walk)
