Heathfield Cottage

A lovely cottage located in a small farm complex. The property has a secure rear garden backing onto open countryside with views. Cattle and Sheep are often in the rear field. The cottage has a first floor bedroom (twin beds or can be a double) and a bathroom. Ground floor has an open plan Lounge/Kitchen with open fire place and a separate dining room (Has been used as a bedroom). There is also a ground floor WC. The property will suit a couple for a peaceful hide away and walking adventures. Views over neighbouring countryside from a private rear garden towards a Kirk and hills. A lovely walk opposite along the track to possibly the best beach on Arran. When the tide is out vast sandy areas can be explored. The Cottage I'd say was "quaint", "cosy" with its open fireplace. Private car parking to the flank wall. Key safe to the front door. The housekeeper is nearby. The Cottage is set within an old Farming courtyard with other occupied properties. This cottage has parking to the side of the cottage and gated access to a private and secure rear garden. Nearby 10 min walk is The Lagg Hotel selling beers and food. The cottage is opposite a Creamery where basic essentials can be purchased, although it is not a supermarket!! Just a few eggs and milk daily. There is a bus service (every 2 hours), though the bus co-insides with the Ferry arrival and departures in Brodick. A Car is a huge benefit as the cottage is on the South side of the Isle (generally quieter).
