Easy access to that special show or event at Olympic Park Rhodes is a perfect central location for all of Sydney Garden apartment with your own private entrance Fully furnished The kitchen and lounge are on the ground floor where you enjoy views across the Lily pond and garden. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. Main room - Double bed and private balcony with water glimpses. 2nd Bedroom - King size single bed plus desk with printer. Plenty of storage space for the traveller The bathroom is well appointed with a generous shower The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, convection microwave oven, induction cooktop, electric wok, rice cooker, dishwasher and full sized fridge freezer. There is also a clothes washing machine and clothes dryer. The street is very quiet with free, unlimited parking (no parking available on the property) Your own private entrance welcomes you to your own secure private garden It includes a herb garden and your own Weber gas BBQ. You enter into a generous open plan living space including kitchen. Upstairs you'll find 2 bedrooms and the bathroom We live in the main house on the property but you will only see us when and if you need something or have a problem. We were a Host Family during the Sydney Olympics, so we are long term locals who are fairly knowledgable about getting around the local area as well as our beautiful city Rhodes is centrally located,making it very accessible to all of Sydney CONCORD HOSPITAL A short pleasant 20 min walk through parkland to (or a bus goes at the end of the street to Hospital door) SYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK - 8 min by car, (approx $13-$17 with an Uber) - 20 min weekday Bus No. 533 or on weekends from Rhodes Station Bus No. 526 Public Transport BUS STOP - 5 minute walk FERRY/RIVERCAT - 20 minute walk - offers outstanding views along Parramatta River directly into Circular Quay (Sydney Opera House) Even travel into a conference at Darling Harbour Wharf RHODES TRAIN STATION 10 minute walk - Rhodes Station - Central Station - express 18 min - Rhodes Station - Domestic Airport - 41 min (1 change). For International Airport add 2 minutes RHODES SHOPPING CENTRE close to train and includes Cinema, major stores, IKEA and plenty of food and restaurant choices TOP RYDE SHOPPING CENTRE - by Bus 458, M41 - 5 min bus trip with short walk at either end. Great for general shopping if you have a load to carry. Macquarie University accessible by express bus (M41) at the end of the street. For those with a car there is plenty of street parking and all major link roads and Motorways close by. Stays longer than 28 days are welcome, please contact host You will look onto our Water Lily pond and rear garden oasis. You may see the occasional heron trying his luck with the frogs and fish in the pond. You may see our (very friendly) Border Collie dog try his luck with the heron. This space is fully surrounded by mature trees and palms creating an oasis in the middle of the city. The neighbourhood is a very quiet area.
