Located right on the crystal clear waters of the South Mossman River, you will be able to swim in your own private swimming hole by day, sleep at night to the sounds of the rainforest, and wake up to a breakfast of organic eggs and freshly brewed coffee. Venture down to the orchard to pick an array of exotic tropical fruits. You will want to stay more than just a couple of days!! La Finca is a perfect getaway for couples and singles who want a quiet space to totally forget about the outside world. There is a second bedroom, also on the lower level, and ensuite that can be booked for a third or fourth guest at an extra cost. You will have full access to your own private self-contained area that takes up the entire lower half of a large two storey pole home. With your own bedroom, ensuite, kitchen, lounge, daybed, dining and patio just meters from a crystal clear swimming hole, you will have no reason to leave. From your own private entrance, you will have full access to the entire lower half of the two storey pole home. This includes, a private bedroom, ensuite and balcony, kitchen and island, daybed, tv lounge and outdoor hammocks. Also on the lower level there is an extra bedroom and ensuite for a 3rd or 4th guest. The garden outside your room leads to your own private access swimming hole. Jose grows his own organic tropical fruit and vegetables, that are shared with each guest. You can cook your own breakfast with the farm’s own organic eggs and create fabulous fresh salads from Jose’s vegetable patch. Bianca has her own Jewelry label, Ewa Tribal Jewelry, and is more than happy to share with you her small studio and Jewelry collection. Of an evening, guests are welcome share a home made pizza over an outdoor fire. Shannonvale is a beautiful tropical community hugging the crystal clear waters of the South Mossman River. Situated on 3 acres, La Finca has no immediate neighbours or traffic, you will feel like you have left the world behind. The property is only 10 minutes from the spectacular Mossman Gorge. The South Mossman River runs all year round and is home to a family of fresh water turtles and jungle perch which you will be able to hand feed yourself. La Finca is only 15 minutes drive to the tourist town of Port Douglas where you will find 5 star dining, cafes and shopping. Each Sunday there is an Artist Market where you will find local handmade jewelry, fashion, and food. Also only 5 minutes away is the small town of Mossman. Mossman has a large Supermarket, Chemist, Post office, small cafes and shops. Every Saturday there is also a small market where you can buy local produce and many handmade items. ~ Breakfast foods provided : organic farm eggs, seasonal fruit, cereal, milk, tea and coffee. ~ Wifi, Netflix, Novels, Magazines.
