The Annex @ 3 East Town Cottages -Trowbridge

Nestled down a windy country lane, within the garden of 3 East Town Cottages, The Annex boasts beautiful views across the Wiltshire countryside, where you are as much a part of nature as sheltered from it. Arranged over two floors, with open plan living upstairs, room to accommodate 4 adults sharing or a family of four, a private entrance, kitchen and shower/laundry room. Ideally located for those who may be visiting the area for work in many surrounding towns. Fully equipped with tasteful decor in keeping with its surroundings, The Annex provides a very tranquil base for couples and families alike. The seating area upstairs boasts amazing far reaching views across the fields, and is an ideal space to relax and enjoy your stay. The first garden is available for guest to use, although please bear in mind it is shared with the main house. We are always on hand to respond to any query or request you may have during you stay, to ensure you are able to relax as much as possible. The Annex is situated in the middle of the countryside, minutes drive from Trowbridge, the county town of Wiltshire on the outskirts of the village of West Ashton and within walking distance of the village of Steeple Ashton. Rood Ashton lake is an 8 acre shallow carp fishing lake a stones throw from The Annex which is open all year round. Rood Ashton Farm’s grounds can also be hired for events or parties making The Annex the ideal accommodation for any guests. The Annex’s idealistic untouched appearance makes it a beautiful place to be.. There are many beautiful walks in the vicinity of The Annex, details of which will be in your welcome folder along with information on things to do, places to eat out and local attractions. We operate a no shoes policy in the upstairs area of The Annex. Spare bedding, towels, cleaning products and tea, coffee, UHT milk sachets are provided. We are keen on recycling and the environment hence the solar panel to the main house. Please feel free to use the main house recycling facilites to the side of The Annex. In the season the bank to the front of the main house is covered in a bed of beautiful wild flowers to attract the bees.
