Wild Falls Farmstay

This self-contained bungalow is situated behind our main premise. The room includes a comfortable king bed, fireplace, ensuite bathroom, a small kitchenette with kettle, toaster, fridge and induction stove and outdoor space with BBQ. As we are close to the national park, the area is quiet and isolated, making it the perfect getaway from the city (and people) and into nature. We suggest bringing nibbles, or food to cook with as the nearest local eateries and supermarket is a 20-minute drive away. We are located in the surrounding area of Tarra Bulga National Park, which is a only a 30 minute drive away, but there are trails closeby, with Cyathea falls 15 mins away and Tarra Falls only 5 minutes away. The entire area between us and the national park is a picturesque drive along Tarra River surrounded by ferns and mountain ash as far as the eye can see. Tarra River is right in front of the property with easy access if you’re wanting to take a refreshing dip on a hot day! Picnic tables by the river are also accessible in front of our property. Our closest town is Yarram 20 minutes away, which has cafes, pubs, bottle-o, banks, Woolworths and Foodworks. Port Albert is another 10 minutes where you can get some of the states best fish and chips. Also 30 minutes away is Woodside Beach and a little further along you’ll stumble across 90-mile beach. More about our property: We’re hobby farmers but we also have various rescues on the property including calves, alpacas, chooks and a pony. All our animals are super friendly and love a pat and of course…food!! Be warned the goats may ambush you if you come with treats. You may see us around doing the feeding rounds so feel free to join us! The animals always love attention, but feel free to relax and ignore them. Please note: There is limited 4G in the area once you hit the park area, and none on our property. We have satellite wifi here, but it can be limited (for instance, if theres a bad storm) so get ready to switch off and relax. We have a portacot available with a changing table for an additional charge for guests wanting to bring along an infant. Please message us to request.
