Kereru Haven: Pigeon Bay home with a view

A stunning modern home in beautiful Pigeon Bay, near Akaroa, in Banks Peninsula. Our home is ideal for couples or families looking for a rural retreat. Sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view or take a walk down to the water. Excellent kitchen facilities, wifi, and spa to help you relax. A continental breakfast tray is provided, and you are welcome to use our kitchen basics. There is a a Nespresso machine and Harney & Sons tea for you to enjoy. All linen and towels are provided, and the bed made up for you so you can relax and enjoy your stay. The second bedroom can be set up as a super king or two single beds. Please let us know when booking. We have the wonderful Ashley & Co toiletries throughout the house. The house has expansive and delightful indoor and outdoor living and dining facilities. The living room has facilities for Netflix and music. You're welcome to use the Wifi and the smart TV. A Bose bluetooth speaker is available for your use. There is also a old fashioned spacies machine for your entertainment. It has over 3000 games from the 80’s and 90s and will keep you amused for hours! The home is set on 5 ha of north facing land 500m from the bay. Unfortunately we do not have direct access to the beach. Access is back along the road to Pigeon Bay. The grounds are developing and are a constant work in progress. We have recently planted over 1200 natives. Surrounding the house and gardens is our own woodlands with gum, pine and natives in the gully. The spa is a great way to enjoy the wonderful rural vistas. Pigeon Bay is a lovely fishing and boating bay. There's a boat ramp and jetty. At the house there's plenty of parking for your car and boat. Mussels, Paua, Crayfish and various fish can all be found. If walking is more your thing, there is the Hay Reserve in Pigeon Bay and many walking tracks across the peninsula, including the Rail Trail from Little River. Pigeon Bay is just 25 mins drive to Akaroa, with plenty of Restaurants, Cafe's, Galleries and Shops. We will not be at the property at the same time as you, so you will have the whole place to yourself. Everywhere your key can open is yours to use and all of the grounds are yours to explore!
