Cosy room in the attic

Our cozy attic room with exposed beams can comfortably accommodate two people and also offers a lounge area separate from the bedroom. In 10 minutes by train it is possible to reach Arona, in 20 Stresa and in 50 minutes the area of Milan. Located on the second floor of a recently restored typical of Lombardy "cascina", the room has a comfortable double sofa bed, a bathroom and a mezzanine with a sofa to serve as reading and relaxation area. On the lower floor there is another private bathroom with shower. We have two nice cats, Hermes and Nikita. A basic breakfast is included. On request you can have a rich breakfast at the cost of € 4.00 per person per day. The use of the kitchen is NOT allowed. The ground floor is private. My husband Fabio and I are at guests' disposal in non-working hours. Located on a hill, the house is a 3-minute drive (15 on foot) from the town center and train station. There are no public transports linking Via della Guardia to the town center or the train station, though the distance is short (about 2 km) and easily walkable. By train you can reach Milan and the exhibition center of Milan-Rho/Pero in about 50 minutes; Arona in 10minutes, Stresa and the Borromean Islands in half an hour. We do suggest to visit the lake by using the public ferry boat service. In Sesto it is possible to rent bikes and cycle along the paths of Navigli Lombardi, Lake of Comabbio and Lake of Varese.
