The barns are situated on our family-run smallholding and are surrounded by fields and backed by an orchard, all set in the beautiful Mendip Hills, an Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty (AONB). We are ideally situated for Mendip walking and mountain biking. We want our guests to feel that they are staying somewhere special that offers total relaxation and comfort in a quiet and luxurious setting. Suffering from an allergy? We do not allow pets in the barns and have a rigorous cleaning protocol. Respect for the environment and local community are part and parcel here at Grove Farm and we are continuously striving to improve our approach to environmental, social and economic sustainability. You can find Grove Farm on the A38 just outside Sidcot. The barns are reached via a long private driveway 120m from the farmhouse. There is ample parking outside the barns for at least 4 vehicles. An outside socket is available for EV slow charge. CORONAVIRUS: all UK government regulations apply and must be adhered to. For the safety of our guests and ourselves we leave 4 days in between all bookings. We look forward to welcoming our guests on arrival for the key handover and a quick tour of the barns. Throughout your stay with us here at Grove Farm we are always available for any questions, either face to face, via text, email or phone. At the end of your stay please arrange for us to say goodbye and to collect the keys prior to your departure. We are surrounded by fields with few houses in sight, yet close to all amenities. You can walk or mountain bike in the beautiful Mendip Hills directly from your front door. How to find us: By Car If travelling by car, the motorway is around a 15-minute drive from Junction 21 of the M5. By Air Bristol airport is 6.5 miles away and easily accessed via airport transfers or pre booked taxis. By Train If travelling by train, Yatton train station is the nearest mainline railway station to us and 5.6 miles away. Taxi We know of numerous local, reliable taxi firms if you need transport arranged. Ways of getting around during your stay include on foot utilising the stunning foot paths across the Mendips, bicycle (we have a bike shed for you to store any bikes you may bring), and car. The barns are situated on a working small holding and you will see livestock as well as wildlife such as deer, foxes, badgers, owls, bats and lots of nesting swallows.
